Putting on this Catgirl maid outfit from Angels of Delusion truly gets me into character in a split second. The backdrop at this convention was amazing—the white and light blue flower wall paired with artificial turf made the entire scene feel clean and translucent, which perfectly suited this fresh, dreamy Anime-style makeup and styling look. To fit the character's sweet yet slightly mysterious setting, I specifically chose a light green wig paired with blue colored contacts to make my gaze look more agile. The cat ears and hair ornaments on top were all adjusted by hand to ensure they wouldn't look too flat or sit at an odd angle in front of the lens. The bell on the chest and the red tie are arguably the crowning touch; the metallic texture and red color pop beautifully against the predominantly black-and-white dress, making it highly eye-catching. During the shoot, I intentionally chose a kneeling posture, leaning forward slightly. This not only elongates the body lines but also lets the hair drape naturally along the sides of my face, adding a touch of laziness. The lighting at the convention venue was rather cluttered, so during post-processing, while preserving the skin texture, I slightly adjusted the color temperature and contrast to make the skin tone look radiant while enhancing the vividness of the background flowers and grass. The most interesting part of cosplay is that you can briefly experience another character's life through costumes, props, and expressions. The cut of this outfit is very form-fitting but doesn't restrict movement at all, making it incredibly comfortable while roaming around the convention. I hope to pass on this feeling of daydreaming in a garden to everyone.
