[Belle cosplay] Freezing Zenless Zone Zero's daily life with a camera on the streets of New Eridu

Taking advantage of the lingering warmth of Day 3 at Guangzhou Zenless Zone Zero FES, as Proxy Belle, I'm here to share this freshly minted set of convention photos. This feeling of wandering and shooting on-site at an anime convention is actually much more vivid than shooting alone in a studio. The lighting and composition captured by photographer @東IIIII this time accurately restored the everyday feel of Sixth Street.

Regarding this outfit, the details are actually more intricate than they look from afar. The black long-sleeved top is embroidered with swallow patterns; this embroidery craft gives the clothing a natural agility when walking. The yellow-and-white color-blocked outer garment is visually very recognizable. The red rope knots and smiley face patterns on the chest are hand-stitched; although beautiful, they are prone to snagging in crowded convention environments. The grey mechanical rabbit pouch hanging at the waist and the small black crossbody bag on the side not only serve as decorative layers, but are also perfect for holding odds and ends during the convention.

The lower body is paired with white pantyhose (White stockings cosplay) and black Mary Jane shoes. Walking around the exhibition hall all day is truly a test of physical stamina and attention to detail. Although white pantyhose visually brighten the overall look and fit the character's lively vibe, they snag very easily. However, for the final photographic results, it is necessary to maintain overall cleanliness. The shoes have good grip, making walking across various floor surfaces in the hall relatively safe, while also allowing for natural poses and smooth transitions between standing spots during photos.

The scene setup at this Guangzhou Anime Convention / Guangzhou FES was truly sincere. We shot in quite a few places, such as the Chinese-style storefront of "Koi Noodle Shop"—the red signboard paired with wooden planks and lanterns made entering that area feel like stepping out of reality and into New Eridu. The photos interacting with succulent plants in front of the flower shop set turned out great, with the greenery and overhead lighting making the skin texture look fantastic. We also visited the grocery store prop marked with the character "杂" (Grocery), where the blue-and-white crate served as an iconic landmark of that area.

The "Red Tail Light" express delivery box and the adjacent industrial-style handcart recreated in the exhibition area were also great photo spots. Paired with the blueprint wall featuring the word VISION in the background, the mechanical aesthetics and street marketplace vibe blended seamlessly, providing rich background layers for this set of photos. These authentically built scenes and props offer much more detail and texture than purely composited backgrounds.

The atmosphere on-site at the convention was extremely vibrant. Even though Day 3 was the final day of the exhibition, there were still numerous attendees and players. While walking around, I was frequently recognized by passionate Proxies and invited to take photos together. I also met many wonderful photography enthusiasts; everyone exchanged positioning, angles, and experimented with different apertures and depths of field to capture the synergy between the character and the environment. This experience of interacting with players and sharing with fellow enthusiasts is the most precious memory behind the convention photos.

As my first appearance in a large-scale convention with this look, everything went quite smoothly overall—from the initial costume selection and makeup color matching to final on-site adjustments at the exhibition. To match the character setting in makeup, I chose a blue-purple wig paired with an orange hairpin on one side and light blue colored contacts. The eye makeup emphasized vitality, and the lip color leaned toward natural rosy tones to adapt to the lighting and outdoor feel of different scenes.

Striking different poses in front of the camera with this look creates different vibes. Some photos are suitable for presenting a lively, agile feeling, while in front of more life-like sets like "Piaotanggu" and "Koi Noodle Shop," relaxing a bit and striking everyday poses blends much more naturally with the background. There might be more retouched versions of this set in the future, but these current convention photos already contain all my memories and passion for Day 3 of Guangzhou Zenless Zone Zero FES.
