[Wishadel cosplay] Contingency Contract is so much fun: The real mental state after an anime convention

The competitive pressure brought by the opening of Contingency Contract has been way too high. After running around all day at the anime convention, I decided to directly channel this 'so exhausted I don't want to speak yet dying to play games' state into creative content, pulling off this campus-style shenanigans shoot in advance. Originally, I planned to strike some cool, high-difficulty poses wearing Wishadel's red-and-white twin-tails with little horns, but the moment I stepped out of the convention hall, my energy reserves were practically at zero. So, I simply changed into a white-and-blue striped sailor uniform and sat down at a desk. In the first photo, I used a red Xinhua Dictionary to block my face, leaving only my eyes—adorned with red eyeshadow and colored contacts—staring straight into the lens, creating a breakdown vibe that says, 'I'm trying hard to study, but my mind is actually completely blank.' This gap-moe style is super relaxing to shoot since it doesn't require heavy facial expression management, perfectly matching the character's refined yet lazy aesthetic. By the second photo, we shifted to a rear-side angle, deliberately posing in a sitting posture facing away from the camera with an open math textbook spread out on the desk, while one hand held a phone to play Contingency Contract. Sunlight streaming through the curtains onto the desk, coupled with the focused expression of gaming, completely saturated the atmosphere of 'slacking off in class.' In reality, the mental state right after an anime convention is often just like this; wearing character costumes brings a mysterious sense of immersion, and shooting these casual campus shenanigans is far more interesting than stiff, stationary posing. Utilizing everyday study aids and a smartphone as props significantly relieves fatigue during the photoshoot while capturing the most authentic daily moments of ACG fans. The red cover of that Xinhua Dictionary happened to echo the red feathers on Wishadel's headwear, a subtle detail coordination I purposely prepared. The strands of the red-and-white wig looked fantastic under the lighting, and while the white-and-blue sailor uniform didn't show much skin, a simple school uniform better conveyed that cool yet amusing school daily life vibe. We didn't deliberately chase extravagant set designs during the shoot; instead, we picked an ordinary desk area with an open view and unified color tones to keep the frames grounded in realism, making the whole process feel more like sharing my genuine gaming expressions with friends outside the lens. This convention trip was genuinely tiring, but it's precisely this extreme contrast that makes me realize the joy of cosplay isn't just about producing flawless photosets, but about constantly trying new ways to interpret characters. Whether it's rushing through high-intensity exhibition halls or returning to a school seat to pretend to be a good girl while secretly gaming underneath, these are unique experiences brought to me by Wishadel. The mental state of convention-goers often oscillates between extreme exhaustion and sudden bursts of excitement, and blending these two states together is precisely the core message this photoset aims to express.
