Putting on this black suit, donning the top hat and the single eyepatch, and pairing it with the short blue wig, I feel as if I've become the noble Bocchan from Black Butler, who carries a deep, deep hatred. The shoot at the Firefly ACG Expo this time went incredibly smoothly, and I'm deeply grateful to the photographer for their precise capture and patient guidance. Aside from the standard suit set, what satisfied me most about the costume was the detail of the black lace butterfly bowtie, as well as the leg rings and over-the-knee black leather boots added to highlight the character's aristocratic youth vibe. The cane is an indispensable accessory; the moment it's held in hand, the character's unique sense of pressure comes out. During the shoot, that classic line kept echoing in my mind, and I worked hard to capture the contradictory feeling of this character—proud, detached, yet with an underlying determination buried deep inside. The on-site lighting today was exceptionally helpful; the cool tones hitting the blue hair and black suit brought out the texture perfectly. I also handled the color grading in post-processing myself this time, mainly wanting to restore that characteristic dark Gothic atmosphere of Black Butler as much as possible. Being able to bundle up in so many layers on a hot summer day to put out this character is quite a tribute to this obsession. I'm very satisfied with the final photo results; every process of doing a cosplay is genuinely a deep conversation with the character.
