[Owari cosplay] Shimmering White Veil by the Poolside Night view

Preparing and shooting this Owari Swimsuit set took over half a month, with the primary goal of capturing a cool and glamorous Atmosphere. Starting with the outfit, the white silk slip dress is extremely unforgiving to the figure, and the high-slit cut demands perfection from leg lines, so I spent considerable time stretching before the shoot. Because the fabric was quite slippery, we used plenty of pins and double-sided tape to secure its position and prevent any wardrobe malfunctions. Attaching the black horns was a bit tricky; to avoid ruining the hair and styling, we found an optimal anchor point on the head. The texture of the gold accessories is the soul of this styling—both the clavicle chain and bracelet are alloy-made, creating intense metallic reflections under the lighting. The large, sheer white veil is quite see-through, but draping it over the arms flattered the body shape wonderfully while adding a sense of visual extension. We chose a poolside setting at night, using a single light fitted with a color gel to produce cool-toned illumination. This created a stark contrast between the dark stone steps and the deep water, beautifully accentuating skin texture. We experimented with many poses before choosing this low-angle shot, which elongated the leg lines; during captures, I also consciously kept my neck and shoulders relaxed. Post-processing focused on contrast and fair, cool-toned skin, darkening the background so the highlights on the veil and skin could pop, while preserving ripples on the pool's surface to enhance depth and that anime-inspired Atmosphere. There were minor hiccups, like getting chilly from late-night water temperature drops and dusty bare feet on stone slabs, but fortunately, we adjusted quickly. Although photo retouching took a lot of effort, the final quality met expectations.
