Sunna in Zenless Zone Zero has highly distinct character traits, so this time I specially selected a water park filled with summer vibes as the shooting location, hoping this set of cosplay works could restore that refreshing yet slightly playful feeling of the character. The silver short hair is paired with light blue bow knot hair accessories on both sides, with a forehead hair clip as an embellishment. The headwear part was specially customized by commissioning someone to make it as close to the game's setting as possible. The black choker around the neck is also the key to the styling, which works with this black sleeveless one-piece swimsuit to form an excellent color echo visually.

The pink and white striped sleeve covers on both arms are one of the iconic accessories in Sunna's look. It is not only highly eye-catching in its color choice, but also adds a touch of unique anime characteristics to the overall outfit on top of the swimwear base. The name tag sticker on the chest was made of special waterproof material, and the handwritten font on it was adjusted repeatedly; although it's not a complex prop, it is crucial for accuracy. When shooting at the water park, the lighting conditions were quite complex. The light spots reflected on the water surface, along with the water spray splashing from above, made the lighting on location exceptionally bright, requiring the photographer to precisely control the exposure to avoid the highlights on my face blowing out.

We tried several compositions near the edge of the pool and around the slide. For instance, in the first photo, I knelt on the steps, holding both hands next to my cheeks with lightly clenched fists, which, paired with a gaze looking straight into the lens, aimed to express that slightly defensive yet cute state of the character. The second photo shifted to a blue and orange slide, with one arm raised high in a fist and the body leaning slightly back, letting the legs naturally stretch out on the slide's surface in a relatively relaxed overall posture. The third photo shows me sitting in the shallow water area, opening both arms toward the camera to just catch the falling water droplets, hoping to bring a sense of interaction.

However, shooting in the water indeed comes with some troublesome aspects. The wig easily loses its fluffiness in the water vapor; although this character's wig is a short style and easier to manage than long hair, it still needed to be slightly blow-dried and smoothed out every once in a while. Walking around barefoot by the pool also required great care, as the tile surface was extremely slippery due to the water mist; any bump or scrape would affect skin texture, causing the makeup to need touch-ups.

For this waterside scene, it took quite a bit of time from makeup and styling to the final finished photos, but seeing my translucent skin tone and refreshing limb lines revealed underwater in the pictures makes me feel that all the early preparations were not in vain. This set of cosplay photos leans toward cool white and blue tones, which, paired with the yellow buoys in the background, yields a great visual effect under the cold-warm contrast. Placing Sunna in such a water environment is actually highly fitting for her character attributes, overflowing with a sense of vitality. I hope this set of photos with a touch of sweat and water vapor can let everyone feel the cool and refreshing atmosphere of the summer water park during our swimwear photography session.
