Putting on this pure white Bride cosplay attire and wearing the giant fox ears and veil, I instantly entered Musashi's state. This shoot specially chose a warm-toned soft light environment, paired with crystal candlesticks and lace tulle, aiming to restore that gentle and holy sense of atmosphere. The wig was styled into twin tails, with purple highlights and the cheek tattoos carefully drawn out bit by bit, and even my nails were adorned with purple rhinestones.
During the shoot, the bouquet in my hand and the fluttering of the veil were all key details; to capture the most natural moments, we repeatedly adjusted the light, shadow, and angles. The post-processing didn't over-smooth the skin, preserving the skin's natural texture and the layering of the makeup. Actually, bride-themed outfits are very complex in structure, and a lot of thought went into fixing the corset at the back and the veil. But seeing the lightweight layered tulle and the lace embroidery by the ears in the final photos makes all the preparation worth it.
I've always loved Musashi's setting in Azur Lane; her elegant temperament carrying a steadfast love is something I hope to convey through this photo set. The photographer's snapshots were on point; many times, casual backward glances or moments of looking down carried the most narrative feel. This time, I experimented with some classical compositions, combined with fresh flower props to reinforce the wedding atmosphere, which is also an expression of my own understanding of the character. I hope everyone can feel the care hidden within this costume and setting, and welcome fellow enthusiasts of casual cosplay or Azur Lane to exchange shooting insights for this piece of Anime-style photography.
