[Ganyu Cosplay] Liyue's Ice and Snow: The Serene Power of Convention Photos

These Convention photos were captured by photographer Mengmeng. The venue that day was an industrial-style hall with exceptionally high ceilings, whose dark, metallic backdrop surprisingly complemented the cool-toned color palette of this outfit. To set the mood, we scattered white paper shreds in the air to simulate wind, snow, and ice crystals, which caught the top lighting to produce visible Tyndall rays.

The shooting process was physically demanding, largely due to the sizable prop bow. Navigating the crowded convention hall required keeping a steady grip to preserve its full silhouette on camera while making sure not to bump into passing attendees. I chose three distinct postures across the three photos: Photo 1 shows me sitting semi-sideways on the floor, an angle that naturally presents the black pantyhose and overall body proportions while establishing direct emotional connection through eye contact. Photo 2 captures a dynamic shot drawing the bow in profile, showcasing the flowing motion of the sleeves and long wig—the photographer controlled the shutter speed masterfully, retaining movement without losing focus. Photo 3 is a seated freeze-frame holding the glowing sphere; while light in weight, paired with an upward gaze, it evokes a meditative or spellcasting aura.

Let's talk about the wearing experience of this outfit. The primary palette consists of black, white, blue, and gold. The form-fitting black inner layer beautifully contours the upper body, while the overlaid white armor sections feature subtle gradients and dark patterns.
