"Keeping me away from the front lines—are you underestimating me, Sir?" That line had been rehearsed in my head countless times, and today I finally brought it to life before the camera. Perfectly realizing Murata Himeko's Arctic Kriegsmesser battle suit took immense preparation. For the wig, I selected vibrant, high-saturation crimson fibers; to sculpt dimensional layers and an organic wind-swept dynamic, I locked it down with generous amounts of styling spray, spending over an hour with a curling iron just dialing in the curve of the hair tips. For makeup, the focus centered on defining the eye contours, pairing amber-gold contact lenses with cool-toned smudged eyeshadow to capture that stern, uncompromising resolve forged on the battlefield.

This Honkai Impact 3rd Arctic Kriegsmesser outfit has incredible physical texture. The vibrant cyan trims and metallic buckles along the edges of the black trench coat caught specular highlights brilliantly under the spotlights. The most challenging elements, however, were the leather thigh harness straps and tall boots: to hug the muscular contour of the legs, the harness placement required repeated micro-adjustments, as any slightly expansive movement during shooting could cause them to pinch or slip. To project dynamic combat tension, I opted for a half-crouching leap stance. The greatsword prop carried substantial weight; gripping it with both hands kept my arms, shoulders, and back continuously engaged, and maintaining core balance across several rounds left my brow drenched in sweat.

Although the shoot took place indoors, the team ran artificial snow machines to recreate the atmosphere of an arctic warzone. Ice crystals drifting onto my bare skin felt genuinely freezing, which helped me sink even deeper into character. The low-angle upward framing worked wonderfully, bringing the subject, the colossal greatsword, and the industrial background lines into a cohesive composition, while cool-toned lighting across the snowdrifts elevated the scene's tactile richness. Photographer @packy provided invaluable technical guidance throughout the shoot, demonstrating how to angle my posture to convey the weapon's true heft and how to harness ambient rim light to sculpt clean silhouette lines. Because the floor had puddles of melted water, the boot soles were prone to slipping, requiring meticulous caution with every stance while keeping the messy, wind-blown hair looking intentional.

From tailoring the costume and weathering the prop to the final photography, every phase underwent continuous refinement. The Arctic Kriegsmesser design inherently embodies a cold, resilient aesthetic, so in post-production color grading, we heightened the blue-and-black contrast to make the fiery red high ponytail punch through the dark backdrop with maximum visual impact, evoking the raw power of breaking through a frozen wasteland storm. This set represents my creative exploration of the Arctic Kriegsmesser concept, and I hope it conveys this battle-hardened resolve to everyone. Sincere thanks to every partner who contributed behind the scenes.
