This time I cosplayed Griseo from Honkai Impact 3rd, choosing to go out for a shoot and share this 2D cosplay work on my Birthday. I prepared this costume for quite a while, and the biggest challenge was actually styling the wig and hair accessories. Trimming the icy blue blunt-bang short hair took about an hour, curving the ends inward to match the high-collar dark blue neckpiece and the main outfit with chest cutouts, giving off a cool-toned aesthetic overall. The blue, white, and black color palette of the hair accessory along with the metallic ring structure required careful handling to secure onto my head. For makeup, I chose light blue colored contacts and distinct pink eyeshadow, slightly drooping the eyeliner and false eyelashes to capture the character's demeanor. Because this was a shopping mall look combining indoor and outdoor settings, I deliberately chose the morning when there were fewer people to avoid odd looks from passersby. Light filtered down through the glass ceiling, perfectly illuminating the white fabric and golden star pendant of the outfit, and the light blue gloves on my arms looked great in selfies. This was mainly to document my state on my Birthday; although the surrounding environment was quite casual, I was very satisfied with the texture and detail accuracy of the costume. In post-processing, I mainly refined skin texture while preserving the original lines of the garment, slightly adjusting color temperature due to mixed ambient lighting in the mall. I didn't go for complicated poses; a simple gesture pointing forward nicely showed off the front of the costume while keeping the overall vibe comfortable. Cosplaying a beloved character on my Birthday is truly worth documenting with a full set of photos.
