[Marisa Kirisame cosplay] Exhausted Fail Record on Random Dance Day, Waiting for Comic Con Preparation to Try Again

My condition on the random dance day could truly only be summarized by the word 'exhausted'. The phone is an old model, so the photo quality came with a blurry retro feel, which unexpectedly fit the casual recording vibe. That day I was too tired to even think about lifting a camera, and looking through my phone, I only had a few photos in stock, mostly strange angles taken offhandedly—I don't know what I was thinking, but I kept pushing the lens close, either looking up or down, making me burst out laughing at myself in the camera. The makeup and hair styling that day was definitely a big Cosplay fail. The wig was squished in my bag all day, becoming frizzy as ever, and the bangs were cut a bit too thick, falling quite short of expected results. But since I took them, I still wanted to post them as a memory—after all, this is a real part of the cosplay journey. Luckily, the foundation of this Marisa Kirisame cosplay outfit was still solid: a black wide-brimmed hat paired with a purple bow, a Blonde wig with long curly hair braided into pigtails, matched with a beige coat and white turtleneck. All the elements were right, it's just that I didn't style that cool and lively feel. The atmosphere at the venue that day was very lively; everyone was dancing happily, and I bounced around for a few rounds too, resulting in my stamina failing to keep up and my smile gradually stiffening. Although I looked blurry in the phone lens, my eyes still looked spirited, which was a bit of comfort. I plan to wait patiently for the next convention for new comic con preparation to do it again, properly adjusting both makeup and hair to strive for a set of final photos worthy of this character from Touhou Project. When sharing cosplay, the scariest thing is deceitful finished photos, but I prefer laying out real fails and conditions openly so that future progress stands out in comparison. Not taking many photos that day was a minor regret, but once my comic con preparation gear is complete at the convention, I can definitely make up for it. I hope lighting and camera angles will all be in place by then, without any more strange-angled fail photos—though looking at these silly angles now actually has quite a comedic effect.
