[Castorice cosplay] Honkai: Star Rail: Secret Realm in the Sea of Flowers

I'm Xiashi, and this time I'm bringing you Castorice cosplay from Honkai: Star Rail. To ensure this Game cosplay shoot came out at its finest, immense care went into costume tailoring and prop preparation beforehand. Castorice's blue gown features remarkably intricate nuances; from the chest bow to the gradient layers across the skirt hem, solid craftsmanship was required throughout. To reproduce the airy yet opulent feel from the official art, I selected shimmering fabric with micro-glitter for the outer tulle skirt, layering it over a ruffled white underskirt so it sways naturally in motion.

The hair accessories and choker serve as the soul of this styling. I adjusted the anchoring of the blue butterfly hair ornament to ensure it stayed firmly in place across prolonged shooting. The black lace choker links seamlessly with the chest ornaments; multiple fittings were done to ensure it sat cleanly along the contours of the skin. The long blue detached sleeves added ethereal grace, though they admittedly limited arm mobility.

Pairing white stockings with black high heels represents my personal aesthetic touch and visual interpretation alongside character fidelity. The heels were accented with pearls and bows, echoing the cohesive blue palette. The shoot was staged in an indoor setting featuring a fabricated sea of flowers and a white chapel-style backdrop; to evoke that dreamy atmosphere, lighting favored purple and pink fill tones, combining with lush floral arrangements to build an enchanting mood.

Wielding the long-staff prop made it effortless to slip fully into character. I explored multiple poses during the shoot—from poised seated angles to dynamic arm gestures—striving for postures that best resonated with her aura. The Anime cosplay makeup placed special emphasis on eye hues, combining blue-violet colored contacts with eyeshadow to lend narrative depth to my gaze. While physically demanding, seeing the final frames filled with billowing hemlines and butterfly accents made every ounce of preparation feel thoroughly worthwhile.
