Stepping into the A Cloud Art Palace holding this blue-and-white feathered voluminous skirt, what I first felt was the stark contrast between the cool tone of the architecture itself and the evening gown. The costume setting this time features very rich layering: the white corset on the upper body has silver metallic reliefs adorned with a blue gem in the center. To support this umbrella-shaped fluffy skirt hem, I wore a very sturdy petticoat underneath, with a ring of white feathers sewn along the skirt edge. Moving around truly tested my core strength due to the combined weight of the petticoat and feathers. For the wig, the blue gradient hair buns on both sides were styled and set in advance, and plenty of hairspray was applied to the fluffy white hair bundle on top to ensure it wouldn't mess up while going up and down the spiral staircase.

The A Cloud Art Palace at Kunming Fenglongwan Aladdin Town is a very distinctive shooting location. Expansive fair-faced concrete, giant arched windows, and geometric window panes all impart a solemn, cool, and solid aesthetic. The spiral staircase here produces stunning photos. When the voluminous skirt spreads across the steps, it forms a gorgeous contrast with the raw, textured finish of the concrete.

During shooting, we encountered lighting challenges. The indoor natural light was limited by the orientation and size of the windows, leaving the overall ambience on the darker side; shooting directly would easily make the subject's face look dull and gray. Therefore, when framing frontal and three-quarter angles, we specifically used a softbox to fill light on the face, lifting the subject out of the dark gray background and making the frame much more translucent.

In terms of shot selection, a low-angle upward perspective is the ultimate viewpoint to showcase this massive skirt and its feather accents. Standing below the staircase and pointing the lens upward not only fully captured the skirt's pyramid silhouette but also incorporated the domed ceiling structure of the building into the frame, delivering a powerful visual impact. Additionally, the stained-glass windows served as another fantastic framing spot. We tried standing by the window and letting light filter through from behind; though backlit, it captured the kaleidoscopic light and shadows cast by the glass panes, working with the mask prop to evoke a mysterious narrative mood.

Regarding props, a white-and-silver half-face mask was used this time. Wearing it while moving on the staircase restricted my vision, requiring advance communication with the photographer regarding pacing and steps to ensure safety. To harmonize with the gown's low-saturation color palette, I wore White tights cosplay pantyhose and light blue strapped low heels, allowing the leg lines to extend naturally without looking out of place when sitting or walking on the stairs.

Taking everything into account, the most physically demanding aspect was posing along the staircase. The skirt was massive and the spiral staircase was rather narrow, often requiring me to lift the hem while ascending and descending; the weight of the outfit was genuinely formidable. Yet upon seeing the finished photos, the contrast between the cool-toned architecture and the delicate gown felt richly textured. If anyone wishes to visit this photography spot in Kunming, I recommend checking ticket admission beforehand and traveling during off-peak hours, as weekend crowds might disrupt large-scale framing. This set was shot all the way from morning to afternoon with significant shifts in natural light, leaving my legs slightly sore by wrap-up time; however, being able to complete this shoot in such unique architecture made it all entirely worthwhile.
