The combination of this Sailor suit and White stockings really delivers stunning results under the right lighting. When shooting this photo set, to accentuate the leg lines and overall elongation, we chose an ultra-low-angle wide-angle lens, which is why the legs look exceptionally long in the photos. The heavy blur of the foreground beach enhanced the sense of depth in the frame, making the subjects stand out even more. There were actually many details to fine-tune during the shoot: although sitting on an inflatable swim ring looks relaxed, controlling leg angles and toe postures required repeated takes. The soft light created by the backlighting is a major highlight of this set, though it easily caused the sky highlights to blow out, requiring careful balancing in post-processing. With the overall warm color tone and a backdrop featuring city high-rises and the beach, props like transparent swim rings helped create a dreamy summer evening mood. The stockings behaved subtly under daytime light; considering the thickness was essential to prevent unwanted transparency. The interaction between the two models was very natural—one looking straight into the lens and the other resting with eyes closed—offering a relaxed vibe well suited to a waterfront vacation. To ensure balanced composition, the subjects couldn't be placed too close to the frame edges, leaving plenty of space during framing. Although walking on the sand in this outfit was somewhat clumsy and feet got covered in sand, the final results were very satisfying. Color grading in post-processing focused on softening highlights and enhancing warm tones in the shadows to match the coastal sunset mood. This dark blue one-piece dress with a white sailor collar created a strong contrast against the beach backdrop, and the pleats of the skirt moved beautifully in the breeze.
