Doing this Sigrika cosplay from Wuthering Waves, let me share the overall concept and shooting experience of this photo set. The purple gradient and white stitching of the costume itself are very exquisite. The geometric texture details on the collar, cuffs, and waist, along with this iconic plush prop, directly determined the texture and quality of the final photos. Preparing the wig took quite a lot of time. This bright orange twin braid requires separate sectioning, and paired with the positioning of the elf ears and headpiece, it perfectly supports the character's lively and agile temperament, essential for a Sweet girl cosplay.

This time, I specially found a room with a solid wood piano and a warm yellow tone as the background, aiming to match the warmth and touch of fantasy that Sigrika inherently possesses. The most satisfying part during the shoot was the lighting control. The side-backlight casting on the orange hair strands, combined with the natural soft light filtering through the French windows, gives the entire frame a translucent and soft texture. The shot holding the Baba mandarin was a little impromptu easter egg on-site. The bright orange of the citrus echoes the wig, and together with the purple of the headpiece and costume, it establishes a comfortable color relationship, adding some daily playfulness to this photo set.

For the makeup, the eyeshadow was toned down, mainly emphasizing the elongated eyeliner and the defined flow of the eyelashes, which, paired with cyan colored contacts, makes the gaze look much more innocent. During the shoot, we also tried high-angle down-shots and low-angle up-shots. The high angle captures the character's well-behaved look, while the low angle perfectly fits the character's trait of looking directly into the lens. The shooting process was relatively relaxed, and the coordination with the photographer went smoothly. I specially emphasized the drape of the purple ribbon on the headpiece, as well as the tassels on the cuffs and hem. These dynamic elements add vividness to the frame during movement and posing, preventing it from looking too stiff for this piece of Cosplay photography.

The plush prop is the soul of this look. It has a matte texture on the surface, and holding it in my arms or keeping it close to my face greatly bridges the psychological distance between the character and the camera, perfectly aligning with the childlike innocence in her character setting. During the shoot, I deliberately minimized the staged feeling, trying to capture the natural cuteness of the character in a daily state, and the post-processing also maintained a natural light tone. Through this Anime-style photo set, I hope to convey a vivid and lively image of Sigrika.
