[Kasumizawa Miyu Cosplay] Blue Archive: Trash Rabbit's Waste Resource Recycling Daily Life - Image 2

This photoshoot features the classic "Trash Rabbit" look of Kasumizawa Miyu from Blue Archive. Instead of using complex real-world scenes, we directly used a white photography studio and conspicuous recycling trash bins to compose the frames. In Picture 1, I intentionally used a flip-top trash bin as a cushion, paired with black tactical gloves and knee pads, accurately catching the sense of contrast of being in a "combat state" yet handling daily props. The weapon in my hand is wrapped with white bandages, and with a mini binocular hanging from the collar, the control over the details of the small equipment is quite meticulous.

Before the shoot, I discussed how to use the props with the photographer. The recycling icons pasted on the black bin were changed to humorous patterns like pistols and bombs. Along with the cyan PUSH pedal on the side, it made the entire scene feel more like a special material recycling point in the game. Adding these elements with a gap-moe twist made the photo release process much more relaxed. To embody Kasumizawa Miyu's character trait of looking a bit cute and dorky yet acting with extreme earnestness, we tried two different sitting postures. One was squatting on the ground, turning the trash bin upside down as a temporary "workstation," and the other was directly occupying the recycling bin as a chair in Picture 2, stepping one foot on the PUSH lid, creating the free-spiritedness and casualness of a "Recycling Tycoon."

In terms of the outfit, the blue and white color-blocked sailor uniform paired with a bright green neckerchief beautifully maintains the character's original fresh color scheme. Meanwhile, the black tactical gloves and exposed black knee pads hint at the character's hidden combat attributes. The small accessories on my body, such as the binoculars and hair decorations, were specially sourced for accuracy, hoping to elevate the overall effect through details. The studio intentionally utilized pure white high-key lighting this time, free from any chaotic element interference, so that the main blue-green color palette and the black, white, and red props could form a clean and vivid visual contrast.

This kind of character interpretation is actually a major test of how to express the "Trash Rabbit" mentioned in the setting through body language and scene atmosphere. Instead of simply aiming for a cool and flashy look, we wanted to preserve that slightly persistent, dorky cuteness inherent to her character traits, so most movements revolved around these recycling bins. It feels like this composition, which carries a bit of absurdity within daily life, is just perfect for letting everyone experience the character's own charm. Since we chose a white background, post-processing mainly focused on color grading to make the skin tone look natural and translucent, while also keeping the blue of the clothing clean and crisp. The overall experience of shooting this set was great; although the props were quite large and took up space, they added a lot of fun to the scene. Finally, special thanks to the photographer's capture in this cosplay photography session, naturally preserving this cute yet slightly sharp atmosphere.
