[Sigewinne cosplay] Bunny-Eared Girl in Genshin Impact: Bright Attire Against a Cool Backdrop

For Sigewinne cosplay from Genshin Impact, a lot of thought went into preparing this costume and styling. The wig features a purple-to-pink gradient, and sculpting the curve of the twintails and bunny ears took quite a while, using plenty of hairspray to lock their shape. For makeup, the base was sheer and radiant, while the eye makeup focused on soft pink tones paired with matching pink contacts, highlighted along the aegyo sal to give the eyes a lively, expressive look. The prop is a pink-and-white water gun; the petal accents around the nozzle felt great to hold, allowing for effortless, natural posing.

The shooting location was an open underground parking garage. This cool-toned, industrial-style setting contrasted splendidly with the vivid bright-blue, pink, and white palette of the costume. Thanks to a wide aperture, the pillars in the background were softly blurred, making the subject pop dramatically. The first photo captures an over-the-shoulder glance, beautifully highlighting the neckline, the large bow, and waist accents. The second photo shows a two-handed gun-holding stance, looking noticeably energetic. The fabric carries a subtle luster that looks very refined under studio lights. With gold trim and a heart pendant at the collar, paired with White stockings, the full ensemble looked remarkably complete.

The shoot was actually quite demanding: being a spacious venue, the temperature was rather chilly, and wearing White stockings with a short skirt while projecting an energetic persona before the lens took real effort. Thankfully, the photographer was very patient, scouting angles and directing my wrist posture so the props looked natural. Along the way, we had to reshoot several times due to windblown hair. Because the outfit has so many intricate details—like the pink blossoms on the sleeves and skirt hem, plus various small ribbons—I constantly checked between takes to make sure they hadn't flipped or creased, ensuring every frame looked pristine.

Whenever preparing a new cosplay, the pre-shoot styling and costume tailoring always take the most time. For the large bow on this dress, I inserted wire inside for support so it wouldn't sag. The bunny-ear wig also required angle adjustments to ensure the silhouette looked great from both the front and sides. Portraying a cute style demands keen camera presence, requiring steady smiles and playful glances.

Post-processing was kept tasteful and understated, mainly involving foundational color grading and skin smoothing while preserving the original cool-warm contrast. Documenting these details is fun, serving as an everyday share of my journey as a cosplayer participating in the Genshin Impact Creator Incentive Program. Though walking in the shoes all day was tiring and packing up was exhausting, bringing a beloved character to life in the real world brings deep fulfillment, and I hope to share that endearing cuteness with everyone.
