[Eula Cosplay] Spindrift Knight Eula Lawrence's Holiday Street Stroll

On March 15, the second wave of the Eula outdoor photography session was successfully completed. This time, instead of choosing overly complex studio sets or identical in-game landmarks, we set the scene in a casual city park and a classical colonnade. I wanted to use this natural light to express Eula Lawrence's slightly relaxed yet still knightly demeanor during her downtime as part of a Coser daily life log.

We had three photography teachers with us for this shoot, each focusing on different styles and lighting setups. The first few sets of seated poses on the bench featured highly captivating light and shadow. The sunlight filtering through the leaves formed dappled shadows on the black bench, hitting the light blue wig to create an exceptionally translucent texture. To coordinate with the outdoor lighting, the overall makeup leaned clean and clear, heavily emphasizing the depth of the eye makeup. After putting on the light-colored contact lenses, Eula's signature cold gaze from Genshin Impact instantly came through.

The costume details were something I cared deeply about this time. The upper body's blue-and-white spliced waist-cinching top combined with a black leather vest, the iconic Cryo Vision on the chest, and that dark blue tie printed with golden flying eagle motifs form the core recognition of this character. The lower body features black shorts paired with over-the-knee high-heeled long boots, whose leather material looked exceptionally glossy under the reflection of outdoor light. The diamond-shaped blue-and-white geometric decorations at the knees and the unique oddly-shaped block heel design at the ankles made the entire lower body lines remarkably crisp. However, the long boots are tight-fitting; to maintain this dashingly upright posture throughout this Coser daily life shoot, I genuinely needed to move my ankles around frequently during breaks.

In terms of props, the two-handed greatsword brought along this time carried quite a lot of weight. Featuring a blue-and-white sword body and a golden crown-like crossguard and hilt, the detail accuracy was extremely high. While shooting on the bench, I tried leaning the greatsword next to the bench or propping my elbow on the hilt. Such poses displayed the clean tailoring of the costume while cleverly utilizing the prop as a visual guide, preventing the frame from looking empty.

There was also a set of standing poses taken under the white Roman colonnade. Set against the greyish-white classical stone pillars and the starry sky painting on the ceiling, the exact moment the blue-and-white gradient cape was blown up by the gentle breeze beautifully presented Eula Lawrence's aristocratic family aura and knightly grace. Holding the heavy sword and donning the cape, I felt completely immersed in the character at that very moment.

The entire shooting process lasted for about several hours. Although running around outdoors in a wig and thick boots was a bit stuffy, I highly adore the cold yet heroic feel presented in the final photos. Compared to a rigid and serious studio shoot, the more vibrant light of outdoor photography makes the character look as if she has come to life. I hope this photo set allows everyone to feel Eula's unique charm of untamed elegance as well.
