Decided temporarily to go to Chongqing OIOI Animation Exhibition Day 2, so I quickly posted to look for a collaboration. Since time is extremely tight, I won't beat around the bush. The range of IPs I'm interested in is quite broad, like Blue Archive, FGO, LoL, Overwatch, etc. As long as there are IP characters that can fit low-key dynamic styles, feel free to communicate. I've prepared several sets of clothing in different styles for this convention, mainly focusing on looks suitable for low-key photography, including maid outfits, modified cheongsams, light armor, and dark gothic styles. Among them, the black stockings maid set has put some thought into the pattern and material; the lace edges and skirt-lifting details will photograph exceptionally well under low-key lighting.

As someone who frequently attends conventions, I deeply realize that high-quality convention photos depend not only on the photographer but also on the cosper's own expressiveness. Regarding the sets of clothes I've prepared, I will consciously incorporate dynamic elements into the action design, such as the fluttering of the skirt, the moment of turning, or utilizing props like trays and long swords to build body language. In terms of expression and gaze management to fit the low-key atmosphere, I have also practiced colder or sharper expressions. Besides dynamics, static standing postures will also focus on the extension of body curves, especially the presentation of leg lines—not purely for exposure, but to make the overall visual proportions closer to the aesthetic of the costume design. The matching of black stockings and over-the-knee socks can well outline the contour edges and increase the hierarchical sense of the frame under low-key backlighting or side-lighting.

This time looking for a collaboration, I also specified a certain quality requirement. Quality here refers not only to photography equipment or post-processing techniques, but more importantly, whether our aesthetics are on the same page. The low-key dynamic style has extremely high demands on light control; the ambient light in the convention venue is often messy, and the spotlights arranged on the ceiling can easily cast ugly shadows on the person. Therefore, I hope the collaborating photographer has some experience in convention photo lighting, preferably bringing their own on-camera flash or external strobe, and knowing how to use high-contrast lighting to darken the background and highlight the main subject. I will also cooperate fully, confirming the venue and background in advance, trying to avoid messy elements, and finding some corners with an industrial style or dark backgrounds to create.

In terms of equipment, I will bring all the wigs, contact lenses, accessories, and large props needed for all looks. Since the styling spans a relatively wide range, from early makeup and wearing to on-site touch-ups, I will handle everything myself to avoid delaying the shooting schedule. For IPs I like, I can drill down into details for accuracy; if certain settings require specific actions to match, I can also respond quickly. Considering the large crowds at the convention site and the potentially fragmented shooting time, we can arrange things flexibly, even if it means taking a few sets of dynamic candid shots whenever there's a gap.

Many friends have asked before whether black stockings and over-the-knee socks would affect movements. In fact, as long as the shoes are properly matched and attention is paid to the anti-slip properties of the stockings, it won't affect running and posing at the scene at all. I also suggest that collaborating partners roughly communicate the desired frame atmosphere before shooting, such as whether it leans towards the tension of a combat state or the relaxation of a convention daily life. This way, we can save time on on-site adjustment and directly enter the shooting state.

If you have thoughts on the low-key dynamic style and your time matches, friends can directly come talk with your good styles and the styling directions you want to shoot. My energy is limited, so I hope to meet photographers with consistent aesthetics and smooth communication, to work together at Chongqing OIOI Animation Exhibition Day 2 to shoot convention photos that both of us are satisfied with. Looking forward to meeting in the venue and starting shooting directly.
