Today I shot this Sunna summer theme set by the outdoor pool. The location was chosen in an open-air courtyard surrounded by wooden floors and tropical plants, with sunlight filtering through the leaves onto the blue inflatable pool, making the light very clear and transparent, which was especially helpful for showcasing the colors of the swimsuit and the texture of the stockings. In terms of clothing, I chose a pink one-piece swimsuit with cute cartoon patterns and letters printed on the chest, paired with pure white tights. To restore the character's styling features, I specially trimmed the layers of the wig, slightly curled the hair ends, and chose a cool-toned light gold color. The hair accessories are a major highlight: a teal headband paired with black triangles, blocks with heart patterns, and pink-and-blue long hair clips. These small accessories added quite a few lively details to the frame, which was also a part I repeatedly compared and adjusted during preparation. Prop preparation was also very important during the shoot. The blue-and-white inflatable swim ring, blue-and-orange toy water gun, and scattered blue-and-white small balls on the ground formed a great visual contrast with the pool and floor. When taking the first shot sitting on the swim ring, to find the most relaxed sitting posture, I tried several angles and finally adopted a crossed-leg style, which not only naturally stretched the body but also allowed the white stockings to present a smooth line feel in the frame. The second shot of sitting on the ground raising the water gun to say hello was to capture a more interactive moment. In the final standing pose, I held the swim ring with one hand, brushed my hair back with the other, and leaned my body slightly, which was meant to showcase the tailoring of the outfit and the overall body curves. The entire shooting process was actually harder than imagined. The outdoor temperature was relatively high, and staying by the pool wearing tights for a long time inevitably made the soles of my feet a bit stuffy, but for the sake of the picture's completeness, I insisted on maintaining my posture. However, being able to record the character's different states with the lens in such a natural environment is a very fulfilling thing. Usually, when I do cosplay, besides focusing on the restoration of costumes and props, I also care deeply about the atmosphere of the character in the scene. I hope everyone likes this summer version brought to you today.
