When walking into this dawn redwood forest, the light happened to pierce through the tree canopy and scatter onto the grass. The air still carried the damp scent of soil and vegetation, instantly sparking a desire to press the shutter. This forest photoshoot was mainly to capture that natural, casual yet crisp feel of the character itself.

Regarding the choice of clothing, a simple white shirt paired with a black fitted vest is the most fundamental and character-highlighting combination. The beige long skirt and black long boots on the lower body added a touch of sleekness. This pairing not only stands out beautifully against the forest's green background but also beautifully showcases the character's mental outlook. To increase the tension of the movements during the shoot, a wooden bow and arrow were specially prepared as the core props, turning the look into a true Archer Maiden. At the exact instant of drawing the bowstring fully, the lens happened to capture the curvature of the hair blown up by the wind; that sense of strength and natural coolness actually exceeded expectations.

Actually, the most interesting part today was bringing out donuts and chocolate cookies as props midway through. Originally, the idea was to create a focused and competent atmosphere, but during a brief rest in the forest, placing a cookie near the mouth or sitting on the grass staring blankly at a donut instead showed off a more slice-of-life air, shaving off some distance. One could say that the contrast between holding a bow in hand and holding food in hand is precisely the biggest gap-moe of this shoot.

The photographer is highly skilled at utilizing the depth and light/shadow of the forest, using a wide aperture to blur those tree trunks and green leaves in the background into soft bokeh spots, allowing the viewer's eyesight to completely focus on the person. Especially those attempts with tilted compositions turned the quiet forest into a dynamic backdrop, giving the resulting photos plenty of tension. Although the post mentions 'banned for messy hair,' I feel that it is precisely this kind of natural candid capture and the slightly playful 'messy hair' that can present the character's most authentic and relaxed side in this cosplay.

Every single set of official photos is actually inseparable from the resonance of the scene. In a forest like this, there's no need to intentionally strike stiff poses; just follow the direction of the light, shadow, and wind—even a simple looking-back glance or lowering one's head to look at the snacks in hand becomes a language that can blend into one with the character. I look at this outdoor photography as a mini vacation escaping the city clamor, finding a patch of green outside the steel and concrete, and recording this brief yet comfortable moment with a bow, an arrow, and a donut. For this photo set, I didn't set too many rules and boundaries for myself; whatever makes me happy goes, however feels comfortable is how it's shot—after all, photos in this casual state are the most vivid. I hope through these frozen frames, people can also feel this forest and the momentary peace here.
