[March 7th Cosplay] Star Rail Hunt Daily Life Recorded by Camera - Image 1

Holding this teal camera prop, I completed a presentation fully aligned with the Path of The Hunt from a high-angle perspective. Today's scene was chosen in an indoor marble tile area, where the black-and-white geometric tiling forms a natural reflector, making the overall lighting translucent and cool white.

This time I cosplayed March 7th from Honkai: Star Rail. The entire pink wig was meticulously styled beforehand—especially trimming the bangs to create an airy feel, while slightly curling the sides to make the vibrant wig look soft and natural. For makeup, light purple colored contacts were chosen to echo her original eye color; blended pink eyeshadow paired with a translucent base and facial contouring kept my jawline looking smooth even under a high-angle view. Since it was a top-down wide-angle selfie composition that easily warps face shapes, I intentionally lowered my gaze angle, keeping the lens close to my face and camera prop to achieve a small-face, three-dimensional feature effect.

Regarding the costume, it's a blue-and-white dominated ensemble. The white top features a slightly open stand collar, with two gold round buttons on the chest adding layered detail under lighting. A black leather choker hung with a silver metal pendant was worn around the neck, creating a nice color contrast with the pink hair. The right arm features a light, sheer lavender mesh sleeve cover, enhancing the dreaminess of the outfit; the left sleeve adopts a white lantern sleeve design, tightened at the elbow with a thin blue ribbon. The lower body features a blue pleated skirt with a wide black belt, with a bright orange ribbon on the side serving as a pop of color to break the gloom of the dominant blue and white. White socks were worn on the legs, maintaining overall brightness and unity within the blue-and-white aesthetic.

The teal vintage camera in hand was an important prop for this look. I held it in front of my chest, resting my index finger lightly beside the lens to simulate pressing the shutter. The camera occupies the visual center in the frame, forming a stable, full composition alongside my face and background in an inverted triangle. We also carefully avoided reflections of phone or camera screens while shooting, capturing a genuine on-camera state. Today's lighting leaned toward a bright Japanese cool-tone; contrast and highlights were adjusted in post to create an airy atmosphere. Although the light was strong, soft facial details were preserved without over-smoothing that would erase 3D dimension.

The post text mentioned that upcoming projects will involve Fu Xuan cosplay, Silver Wolf cosplay, and Elysia white tights cosplay—characters with distinct styles and a wide range. However, I am quite satisfied with the completion of today's March 7th cosplay set. As a Trailblazer on the Path of The Hunt, choosing a camera perspective stays close to her daily persona; this handheld prop half-body selfie conveys the character's nimbleness much better than full-body standing poses. The black-and-white marble tiles provided great geometric textures, and their highly reflective nature eliminated the need for extra fill light, requiring only slight brightening of shadow details in post. Shooting cosplay selfies in environments like outdoor exhibition grounds or mall atrium plazas requires good control over shutter speed and depth of field; for instance, focusing the lens on the eyes in my shot while ensuring the star symbol on the camera remains sharp keeps the overall image from losing focus.

For cosplay shoots in public spaces, I usually try my best to avoid crowded backgrounds, choosing clean ground textures like this as backdrops—which introduces the environment without cluttering the frame. Looking back while organizing this photo set, I felt it fit her easygoing yet slightly tsundere vibe well; just this perspective of holding the camera yielded several different candid snapshot states. Choosing this version of March 7th was a concrete attempt for me to embody her relaxed yet mission-driven personality.
