When I put on this pink plaid stage outfit, the sunshine happened to spill down through the clouds next to the shooting venue. The theme of this official photoshoot revolves around the "10th Story" version. With the long golden curly hair draped over my shoulders and that iconic large red bow tied on top of my head, just seeing myself in the mirror already gave me a sense of entering the character's state.

To prepare for this appearance, a lot of thought was poured into the early stages. The wig was specially chosen in this bright golden color and underwent a certain amount of layered trimming to make it look fluffier and more natural, rather than heavy and rigid. Paired with crimson pupils, it makes the entire facial expression more fitting for the lively and confident idol atmosphere. As for the costume, besides the classic pink-and-white plaid patchwork tailoring, I focused on adjusting the position and fullness of that large red bow on the chest, especially that golden heart-shaped button in the middle, which serves as a visual centerpiece for the entire outfit. To make the necktie and white ruffled cuffs look more textured under the sun, some contrasts were also made in the choice of fabrics so that it could present more three-dimensional layers under different lighting angles.

Outdoor photography actually highly tests the control of light and angles. The moment of reaching out to catch musical notes in the second image was actually an excellent light and shadow moment we caught in a corner of the venue. The outdoor environment on site was highly vivid and bright, and the colorful hull structure behind happened to provide a wonderful color backdrop for the frame. To make the visual look more dynamic, I tried a posture of leaning my body slightly forward and reaching out toward the camera. This attempt was very challenging because it required both keeping the wig styling intact and controlling the extension of my fingers so that the entire reaching motion looked natural and smooth. The post-processed white musical notes were the crowning touch, adding a lively musical sense to this idol-vibe photo. Another composition, where one hand gently brushes the hair near the cheek, is relatively gentler; combined with a slight head tilt during the shoot and a gaze staring forward, it transmits a close yet confident sense of interaction.

Every time I interpret this kind of idol character, I always think about the character's spirit and energy on stage. She is not just a set of beautiful clothes, but a spiritual reflection of being lively, cheerful, and never giving up. This energetic setting also conversely influences my mindset during the shoot. In front of the lens, I intentionally let go of all my fatigue and face the shutter with my most full state. Because an idol's camera presence must be infectious, people who see the photos can also feel that pure passion through the gaze and smile.

The overall atmosphere of this shoot was exceptionally relaxed, the photographer and I cooperated with great chemistry, and coupled with the highly supportive lighting, the success rate of the photos was very high. Even under the strong sun outdoors, being able to leave behind these visuals makes everything completely worth it. Although the shooting process involved tedious details of repeatedly adjusting postures and expressions, I personally highly enjoy this process of constantly polishing and creating to perfectly restore the character. This final presented set is exactly the ideal state in my mind, using a relaxed and natural camera language to display a positive and upward stage image. This is a stage that belongs to myself.
