This time, I tried to recreate Megumi Kato's classic daily outfit from Saekano: How to Raise a Boring Girlfriend. The cream-white beret is paired with a red knit cardigan and a white multi-layered ruffled dress. I tried my best to keep the details consistent, from the black ribbon at the neckline to the lace straps on the over-knee socks. The shooting location was chosen to be a wooden-toned café with soft lighting, which perfectly matches Megumi's quiet and slightly lazy temperament.

To stay true to the character, the makeup didn't deliberately emphasize heavy colors; instead, a natural and clear base with soft eyeliner was used to depict that "thin presence" that nonetheless looks highly exquisite upon closer inspection. The wig's layers were trimmed, and the curvature of the bangs and both sides was adjusted multiple times, striving to maintain the character's silhouette in both dynamic and static states. During the shoot, I specially brought along a plushie and desserts as props to make the frame more vivid and to match the cute side she occasionally reveals.

Sharing these convention photos is to exchange thoughts with everyone on our understanding of her character traits. For instance, her unostentatious yet consistently calm temperament is actually quite difficult to fully convey through a simple daily outfit alone; it relies more on mastering facial expressions and posture details. During post-processing, I didn't over-smooth the skin, preserving some skin texture to give the overall look a more realistic feel.
