A tremendous amount of thought and effort went into this Hsin styling, from makeup and hair to scene staging. The location was set in a Japanese-style tatami studio surrounded by red and white paper lanterns, paired with rolling red maple leaves and red spider lilies that instantly pulled you straight into the world of Wuthering Waves.

The costume contains an abundance of details; the red-and-black palette combined with gold and silver thread embroidery gave it a rich, weighted texture. To capture the agile essence of a fox spirit, the massive plush ears and tail were key highlights. Star-patterned straps were deliberately tied around the tail so that when moving or executing poses, the tail's sweeping curve and fluffy fur caught the studio lights beautifully. That tail is actually quite heavy, putting my lower back and core strength to a real test. For makeup, crimson contact lenses paired with red eyeshadow diffused at the outer corners, along with the forehead floral huadian, accentuated Hsin's alluring yet perilous charisma.

During shooting, we experimented with varied camera angles and movements. We started seated on a wooden bench, using a low tea table, tea sets, and a guzheng zither as foreground framing to emphasize leg lines and a relaxed, languid posture. Several barefoot close-ups were included to introduce visual contrast and an intimate touch. But what stood out most was undoubtedly the later dynamic high-kick series. To get the skirt hem and elongated sleeves to flare into sharp, sweeping arcs, I attempted the kick multiple times—it tested core stability while demanding strict control to keep my facial expression composed. Leveraging that split-second burst of tension fully unveiled the dragon motifs and flowing lining of the robe, while clear high heels visually elongated my leg proportions.

Every frozen frame seen here is the result of continuous lighting adjustments and refocusing between the photographer and our team. For example, the high-kick set required overhead key lights and rim side-lights to trace the body's silhouette without blowing out the intricate folds of the crimson skirt, all while ensuring the background lanterns and maple leaves provided sufficient atmospheric ambiance. Holding steady poses and natural expressions under blinding flash strobes was genuinely demanding physical work. Prop placement was equally deliberate; the positions of the miniature stone lantern and guzheng were recalibrated repeatedly to enrich scene depth without obstructing the subject. This shoot was immensely fulfilling, allowing me to explore every facet of Hsin in a thoroughly thrilling creative challenge.
