[New Jersey cosplay] Azur Lane 9th Anniversary Celebration, Appearing in Pure White Wedding dress Styling

This pure white themed Wedding dress shoot has finally wrapped up successfully! Paired with this long blue hair and headpiece, the overall sense of styling is exceptionally strong. Right from the initial makeup test, I actually had huge expectations for this costume.

Let's first talk about the design details of this costume. The fabric selected consists of lightweight lace and tulle, especially the skirt hem of the lower body, which layers several tiers of tulle so that it spreads out beautifully when sitting down without feeling heavy. The upper body features a halter-neck cut, and the lace embroidery on the chest dotted with tiny rhinestones in the center looks incredibly stunning under studio lighting, rendering a crystal-clear texture. The golden hollowed-out decoration at the waist is a finishing touch, beautifully outlining the body proportions. The translucent long lace gloves on the arms were also custom-made separately; once worn, the sense of elegance and sophistication instantly reaches its peak.

I am also quite satisfied with the makeup this time. The eyeshadow features a pinkish-purple shimmer palette, making the eyes look softer and more animated. The blue hair is the most prominent feature of the whole look. The wig was styled to be very smooth; instead of doing an overly exaggerated style, it retains a natural drape and airy feel, paired with the white wide-brimmed headpiece with bows and golden decorations to add a hint of playfulness.

During the shoot, I needed to maintain an elegant sitting posture at all times while holding this bouquet of white roses. To embody the ceremonial feel of the Wedding dress, we tried a few different movements, such as slightly tilting the head or crossing hands over the knees. Since this outfit itself is already rich in design, it didn't require too much extra complex body language; rather, that natural, quiet atmosphere brought out the bridal theme much better.

I was very lucky for this shoot to have two partners sharing the frame. The partner on the left features long black hair and a beast-ear style, holding a bouquet blended with pale yellow flowers that forms a great color echo with me. The partner on the right sports a blonde-leaning, off-the-shoulder style. The three of us sitting together created a highly coordinated overall image color scheme, with individual character traits dotting the pure white undertone, aligning perfectly with this Azur Lane 9th Anniversary commemorative shoot theme.

Spending most of the day in the studio, constantly adjusting the position of the skirt hem along with small details of the face and hands. Although it was indeed energy-consuming, seeing the texture of the light hitting the lace and tulle in the final finalized images, as well as the state everyone presented, brought immense satisfaction to my heart. Out of this selected set of photos, I especially love the composition of the first one; the frame is complete, and the translucency of the stockings on the lower body and the skirt hem are beautifully preserved. I feel the completion level of the makeup, hair, and coordination this time is an excellent recreation of this bridal theme. The whole process felt deeply ceremonial, making it a Cosplay photography experience I was truly invested in.
