This time, I challenged the Atsuko Bunny girl version designed by Sanmon_illus, and I have to say that this design is truly full of spirit. During the process of preparing this Cosplay, what I cared about most was how to balance the Bunny girl element with Atsuko's own quiet and slightly melancholic texture. The artist's design cleverly retains the character's iconic colors while adding vibrant Bunny girl elements, giving the character a whole new charm.

At the shooting site, the collaboration with photographer Zisu Niuwa Guo was also very satisfying. We chose relatively daily and home-like indoor scenes, with the purpose of making the Atsuko character appear more realistic, as if she really lived in this space. In terms of capturing movements, I tried a variety of delicate body languages, from lazy leaning to agile side-turning; every set of shots is striving to restore Atsuko at that balance point.

From the tailoring of the costume to the subtle handling of accessories, I hope to restore the original intention of the design. Especially that pair of huge Bunny girl ears, which is not only the visual focus in front of the lens but also the key to giving the character personality. This resonance generated from the details is exactly the fun of our creation. Although there were some cumbersome lighting and angle requirements during the shooting process, seeing every expression and light and shadow distribution of Atsuko in the final photos, all the efforts became very worthwhile. I hope this version of Atsuko can bring unexpected surprises to friends who like her.
