These costume designs for the classic trio hold up exceptionally well even by today's standards. While each character showcases a distinct aesthetic, the rigorous sartorial details remain difficult for modern designs to surpass. Most accessories carried substantial heft during the shoot, especially the armored gauntlet and rear mechanical components of the blue-and-white dress on the right, which felt remarkably weighty in hand. Starting with the Herrscher of Thunder ensemble, the structured red-and-black flared hemline and intricate leg-strap harness set high demands on body proportions, requiring constant adjustments to stance to project powerful, athletic leg lines. The Herrscher of the Void outfit offered a more opulent aesthetic, with vivid magenta-purple accents popping against black textiles; paired with cascading white hair and black gloves, shifting body weight slightly forward into a subtle crouch visually broadened the posture. My personal favorite from this set was the Herrscher of Reason's blue-and-white ensemble: perching on a wooden stool while pairing White stockings with high-heeled white boots naturally accentuated leg contours. To achieve the desired framing, the lens angle was lowered slightly, working with a relaxed crossed-leg posture to visually elongate the lower body. The dense ruffles lining this gown's hem put the structural support of the petticoat to the test. In terms of makeup, eye stylings differed across the board—particularly Mei's crimson outer corners and Bronya's cool-toned eyeshadow, which had to be carefully balanced against their signature wig hues to bring out character personas. Because the room backdrop was densely filled with a display wall of collectible figures, post-production mecha effects were carefully contoured around body silhouettes to avoid an overly stiff, crowded look. Front-facing focus also took considerable effort to maintain a pristine frame across reflective surfaces. Ultimately, fusing such complex design elements with the timeless pairing of white stockings and long legs was well worth the patient refinement.
