[Illya cosplay] Fate/kaleid liner Prisma Illya Carnival pink-themed record

This work diary shoot features the Fate/kaleid liner Prisma Illya Carnival theme, with an overall pink and white color scheme. During early preparations, the costume and wig took quite a while to adjust. The wig was chosen as a light gold style with blunt bangs, and the edges were trimmed. To match the original eye color, bright red contact lenses were specially worn. The eye makeup intensified the pink-toned blending, and the blush was applied quite prominently, mainly to match the soft-focus atmosphere of the overall photos.
The dress is a pink-and-white striped one with a slightly glossy material, featuring plenty of delicate lace and ruffles. The pink ribbons at the neckline and shoulders were adjusted multiple times to ensure they wouldn't shift in front of the lens. The white bear hair accessory on top of the head and the white rabbit doll in hand are key props for this shoot. The rabbit doll has blue eyes and a pink bow, and when held in arms, it effectively fills the blank spaces of the frame and makes the movements more natural.
The shooting location was decorated with a large amount of white lace curtains, and the light filtering in from outside was given a pink filter. The photographer used a softbox during lighting setup to lower the contrast as much as possible, maintaining a high-key and bright feel for the frame. To better showcase this outfit, I wore semi-transparent white stockings, with a pink bow garter featuring a blue sapphire tied to my right leg. The composition of photo one is relatively compact, mainly a half-body close-up: holding the rabbit doll tightly, slightly lowering the head, with the gaze carrying a hint of detachment, which, paired with the red eyes, creates a quiet atmosphere.
Photo two is the panorama of sitting on the bed. The texture of the surrounding sheets and fabrics is very soft, and there are some flower and feather decorations in the background. While sitting on the bed, I adjusted my posture, placing my legs to one side to better showcase the leg lines and stockings. Holding the doll with one hand while making a V-sign with the other broke that overly quiet feeling.
During the shoot, I kept micro-adjusting my expressions. The character Illya herself possesses cute and magical girl attributes, but under this pink-and-white pairing, I didn't want her to look overly infantile, so through eye contact and micro-expression adjustments, I brought in a hint of serene temperament. The composition, posture, and prop placement of every single photo were adjusted through on-site communication with the photographer.
Pink-toned photos test color balance quite a bit during post-production color grading: you must keep the pink from shifting or turning gray while preserving fair skin texture. The light and shadow of the background lace curtains and windows needed proper layering management, otherwise details would easily be lost due to overexposure. I am very satisfied with the overall photo output; the details of the props and clothing were retained, and the atmospheric feel met expectations.
From conception to final photos, this set went through a lot of preparatory work. From costume arrangement and prop selection to trying out poses, every single step strove to add a bit of personal understanding while faithfully restoring the setting. I hope the pictures shared this time allow everyone to experience the characteristics of this outfit.
