This shoot was completed in an indoor studio. To match the "pretending to be on a beach vacation" theme, we set up a blue and white striped backdrop in advance. The floor was covered with a reflective material featuring a water ripple texture. Coupled with palm trees, beach chairs, parasols, and various inflatable swimming rings, the visual coolness instantly popped out.

For the outfit, I chose a red and white two-piece polka dot swimsuit, layered with a white long-sleeved semi-sheer polka dot cardigan. For the lower half, I wore over-the-knee White stockings, and added a red polka dot leg ring on the thigh. I put some thought into the accessories: my Twintails were tied with hair ties featuring red cherry decorations, I layered strawberry pendant necklaces around my neck along with a white plush little charm, and the pink round-framed sunglasses on my head served both to block the light and as a prop.

The equipment used on the day of the shoot was a GFX100S paired with a Sigma 40.4 lens. The medium format body combined with a large aperture prime lens captured colors and details perfectly. The red and white polka dots formed a strong contrasting color with the blue and white background. The straight-out-of-camera texture of the original photos was very refined, with natural skin tone transitions, requiring only minor adjustments to the light and shadow relationships in post-processing. During the shoot, to match the laziness and vitality of a summer beach, I tried various poses. There were high-angle shots lying in a transparent swimming ring, cozy moments sitting on a blue and white striped beach chair eating watermelon, and playful actions holding a slice of watermelon over my head. To showcase the lines of the legs and the White stockings, I specially designed standing poses with a lifted leg and stretching poses while sitting on the chair, utilizing the wide-angle lens with a slight high-angle perspective to make the body proportions look even better.

Although there were no real sea breezes and waves, through natural light simulated by lighting, combined with props like watermelons and coconuts in hand, the overall atmosphere was created quite thoroughly. As summer quietly passes by, this photo set serves as a refreshing souvenir for this year's summer.
