The concept for this shoot focused on combining food and photography. Since I had a Vintage camera in hand and wanted to complement the restaurant's aesthetic, I chose this classic yellow cardigan and plaid skirt. To capture Shinonome Ena's persona from Hatsune Miku: Colorful Stage!, I selected a dark brown wig and carefully styled the front side braids, faithfully shaping the curves of the bangs and center-parted strands. For the makeup, I emphasized enlarging the eye contours to enhance the 2D doll-like vibe, adding delicate blending around the eyes.

The first half of the shoot took place inside the restaurant, ordering a table of photogenic treats: strawberry ice cream, waffles, and french fries. To balance the food presentation with the composition, I adjusted the camera angles and used shallow depth of field to blur the background tables. When shooting with food, simply holding it isn't enough; you need natural interactions—hesitating over which bite to take, or gazing intently at the food with a fork. Mid-shoot close-ups lying on the table featured pixel-style speech bubbles overhead, highlighting the cute charm of enjoying delicious food. Because the character combines girlish coquettishness with earnest determination, I incorporated subtle gestures like resting my chin on my hands and poking my cheek.

The second half transitioned to a swing set against artificial flowers and a blue sky backdrop. The Vintage camera felt like a time machine prop; sitting down in the plaid skirt naturally showcased leg lines, making the overall composition brighter and more saturated. Post-processing focused on achieving a fair, translucent skin tone, brightening the pupils, and refining hair details without exaggerated warping, keeping natural body proportions so the photos retain 2D anime charm while exuding relaxed, real-life authenticity. The wooden texture of the restaurant table and the metallic sheen of the swing chains, paired with the shift between natural light and warm indoor illumination, achieved the exact ambiance I envisioned. This set of Cosplay photography works was a truly enjoyable creative journey that captured the genuine happiness brought by food and photography.
