[Dyadia cosplay] Honor of Kings Lively Fitting Session

The process of trying on this Dyadia cosplay outfit gave me a more concrete understanding of the character accuracy in its details, so today I took some time indoors specifically for a Cosplay fitting record. The outfit is dominated by a red wide-sleeved outer garment, whose fidelity to the original design was proven once put on. The white paneling at the collar visually elongates body proportions, and the eye-catching cyan-blue and red ornament on the chest serves not only as the visual centerpiece, but also carries the character's unique design language.

The fabric of the top is lighter than expected, crafted in a dual-layer structure. While loose, wide-sleeve designs are common in anime outfits, Dyadia's sleeves are exceptionally wide and flowy; although hand movement wasn't significantly restricted during the indoor fitting, I could feel the weight of the sleeves when raising my arms. The white cloud patterns and geometric lines on the fabric surface are clearly defined, combining with edge trims to create distinct layering.

The red miniskirt on the bottom half is stitched together with the top, creating a striking red-and-white contrast against the white tights. This White thigh-highs outfit isn't just plain white; it is printed with delicate hand-drawn style heart patterns and geometric lines. Especially around the upper thighs and knees, these patterns extend along the leg lines, adding a playful feel while perfectly matching the character's lively, lightweight temperament.

The shoes are another major highlight this time—not simple flats, but a pair of metallic platform high heels. Primarily white, they feature gray geometric color blocking and red line accents, with pointed toes extending into 3D petal- or claw-like shapes. It took a moment to adjust my center of gravity upon putting them on due to the higher heels, but they don't affect posing in various standing postures. Lifting a leg shows a very natural transition between the shoes and white stockings.

The wig was chosen in a light mint green shade. Styling the long locks on both sides was quite time-consuming, requiring styling spray and combing. The two black animal ears on top along with slender red ribbons form the focus of the head styling; they were fixed fairly securely, and adjusting the angle slightly effectively hid the wig net.

When taking mirror selfies, I deliberately experimented with various poses. A front standing pose completely showcases the outfit structure and accessory placements, while a leg-raising pose like the one in the third photo beautifully highlights the flowy feel of the outfit and the detailed patterns on the tights. The composition feels rhythmic without looking bulky from the oversized sleeves.

During this indoor fitting, I felt this costume tests the wearer's body proportions, as the loose top paired with a fitted lower half creates a noticeable visual contrast. I plan to make minor adjustments to the waistline or accessory mountings later for a better fit, avoiding excessive folds when standing, especially around the neckline and front lapel.

Overall, the materials and craftsmanship of this Dyadia cosplay costume are quite sincere for its price point. The printed lines show no noticeable misalignment, and key accessories are sturdily attached. The actual wearing effect is much more engaging than design sketches, as the gloss and stitching details shown under motion cannot be fully conveyed on a flat design sheet.

After finishing the fitting, I reflected a bit: this style with a touch of fantasy is actually very suitable for full-body photoshoots in natural light or studio settings, where the wide sleeves and totem patterns will produce great light and shadow effects. For now, this trial hit the expected visual standards, feeling fresh and unrestrictive, making it a great choice for future outdoor photoshoots in my 2D daily life routine.
