Standing in front of the camera in this outfit, my very first reaction was that the skirt hem and streamers of this costume are highly exquisite. I used to shoot serious Liyue-style characters quite often, but today I suddenly felt like playing around with something different. Seeing the description line "Master Ke's Rebirth: Selling Beef Offal in Guangdong" really painted a vivid picture in my mind.

Wearing these purple twintails paired with this highly recognizable purple-themed short skirt and flower ornaments, just standing there, the temperament of the character is already fully present. But what I was thinking in my heart was: if "Master Ke" really came to a Guangdong open-air food stall (Dai Pai Dong), she would definitely wear this signature attire to set up a beef offal stall.

Let's first talk about the overall feel of this gear. This long wig actually takes quite some time to style, especially those two beast-ear-like buns and hair ornaments on top of the head; they must be tied into a fluffy, full shape to showcase the character's ethereal yet neat characteristics. The purple-toned wig paired with white flowers provides a wonderful visual highlight to the overall color palette, preventing it from looking dull at all. The fabric of the clothing has a premium texture, and the outer streamers are extremely long; every time I turn at a set point, I have to pay close attention to where they flow, otherwise they easily get wrapped around my wrists. The white inner lining combined with the purple outer cover creates distinct layers, while the spliced design on the chest and the floral decoration at the waist serve as the finishing touches of this Anime-style fashion.

I also put some effort into the styling details. Especially this pair of black stockings on the lower body, which feature highly prominent golden totem printed patterns. This adds a sense of gorgeousness and texture to the otherwise pure black stockings, echoing perfectly with the small purple leather shoes on my feet. The small buckles on the heels of the shoes also enhance the refinement. Wearing the full set, it carries both a combat-ready heroism and an elegant, ethereal vibe; under natural daylight, the reflection of the purple clothing material is exceptionally soft.

Aside from the accurate recreation of the costume itself, the highlight of this styling actually lies in the arrangement of poses and expressions. Since the goal was to align with the down-to-earth, contrasting cute setting of a "beef offal stall owner," during the shoot, I tried to avoid that distant, high-and-mighty solemnity, adding instead some casual, daily-life actions. Just like in the last photo—putting one hand on my hip and gently propping up my chin, paired with a confident little expression (though my face is covered by a sticker, it leaves plenty of room for imagination)—giving off the vibe of being ready to recite the menu and greet customers at any moment. Or that very everyday mirror-selfie perspective can also break the character's original distance, making this classic image lively and fresh.

Shooting this kind of meme-infused Keqing cosplay is actually much more interesting than simply recreating a character. You search for the intersection between the character's appearance and real life. Keqing herself is a vigorous, resolute character who pursues ultimate efficiency, but if she were truly pushing a beef offal cart on the streets of Guangdong, the picture indeed carries a lot of humor. Moreover, through this playful, contrasting integration, the familiar 2D image can radiate a different kind of charm in everyday scenes.

In the actual shooting process, special attention must also be paid to the details. For example, the gloves must be pulled flat without creases, otherwise they look untidy. The standing posture also needs to be slightly straight, because the wide sleeves on the outfit can make you look very spiritless if you slouch. To showcase the slender look of the legs and stockings, the shooting angles and shifts in gravity also underwent fine-tuning. These subtle adjustments are key to elevating the texture of the final photos.

Sharing such a lively styling is, on one hand, to record this fun attempt, and on the other, to let more people see the possibilities of this look in daily life scenes. Although I didn't actually cook a pot of beef offal today, looking at this outfit makes me automatically imagine that steaming hot scene. This is exactly where the charm of cosplay lies—you can immerse yourself in any setting, using your actions and styling to tell a story segment of your own in this Cosplay photography journey.
