Putting on this white battle dress, my biggest impression is that the overall design fits Lumine's vibe in the Genshin Impact Natlan map perfectly. The blue-and-white color-blocking on the skirt hem paired with black and gold lines delivers distinct visual layers under the lighting. The black bow tie decoration on the chest and the diamond gold buckle at the waist serve as classic visual anchors from the character design.
The blue and white flowers on the headpiece not only make the blonde hair look fresher but also soften the somewhat sharp lines of the outfit. The wig's hair volume was specially trimmed to achieve a lightweight, airy feel. Of course, the most essential part is the lower body's white thigh-highs and golden zipper elements. These white stockings not only flatter the leg shape, but when paired with matching white boots, visually elongate overall proportions significantly. Walking around a bit, I could feel the great drape of the costume and the skirt's fluffiness is just right without looking bulky.
When doing mirror selfies, I deliberately picked a few different angles to showcase this cosplay outfit. Holding up the skirt hem with one hand is a classic pose, showing both the light blue inner lining of the skirt and the golden strap and stocking texture details on the thigh. While overly large movements risk exposure, slightly turning sideways or lifting an arm captures a relatively lightweight sense of motion.
Anyone who frequently takes mirror selfies knows that lighting and phone tilt angles greatly influence outfit presentation. Since this predominantly white costume overexposes easily, I slightly lowered the exposure during shooting to preserve the diamond patterns on the white thigh-highs and the subtle rim light along the gold accents.
I really love that line in the post: "We will meet again." Although it is not now and not here, being able to bring part of Lumine's in-game traits into reality through my own interpretation brings a truly satisfying cross-dimensional feeling. The moment I put on this outfit and adjusted my headpiece, it felt as though I too were wandering across the continent of Teyvat along with the thousand winds.
Finally, here are a few sets showing different poses. I tried my best to capture every component of the costume, including the black segmented gloves, the star icons on the skirt, and some buckle details on the back. Although it's just a simple indoor mirror shoot, I hope the presented quality feels comfortable and faithful to the character. That's all for today's shoot log—fully immersing myself in the character experience felt fantastic in this casual cosplay routine.
