Yin Yue's lore in A Record of a Mortal's Journey to Immortality establishes her as a transformed silver wolf spirit, so I focused primarily on capturing that plush fur texture and cool, serene demeanor. The wig was layered and trimmed with feathery softness, while the ears and tail were anchored flush against bodily lines so they wouldn't look tacked on. Across this pristine white battle robe, the silver embroidery tracing the chest and sleeves forms the very soul of the look. I reinforced the borders with custom metallic silver threading to ensure crisp, lustrous specular highlights under exhibition hall lighting. The red waist cord and jade pendants added the finishing touches, but because they easily came undone during walking, I installed a hidden snap button to keep them securely pinned.

Spending three consecutive days at the Mortal Animation Carnival stationed at the Wuliangye booth genuinely felt like stepping into that cultivation universe. Countless fellow Daoists passing by were exceptionally warm, coming over for photos and chatting about novel plotlines. Being complimented by so many fellow Daoists for looking identical to the 3D character model is truly the highest praise a cosplayer can receive. Throughout those three days, some inquired about wig maintenance while others discussed anime lore, making every exchange delightful. Working a convention floor from morning till evening is an endurance challenge, especially while wearing tall combat boots. To maintain the character's upright carriage, I constantly reminded myself to brace my spine and keep my hands in poised, deliberate mudras.

On the first day, I was anxious about how the expansive flowing sleeves would move, as stage blocking differs greatly from standard studio photoshoots. Fortunately, as the booth spotlights shone down, the silver thread patterns gleamed vividly, harmonizing with the plush collar trim to yield a deeply satisfying overall look. I crossed paths with many fans who traveled from other cities, and bonding over subtle anime details allowed me to feel their pure passion for the franchise. One fellow Daoist even brought a tailored prop to pose and interact with me, which was deeply touching.

Over the following days, I observed the atmosphere around adjacent booths, but the traditional Chinese aesthetic of the Wuliangye stage harmonized flawlessly with this Chinese anime cosplay robe. Standing beside the character standees, it felt as though I had truly stepped into the overarching lore. To avoid crushing the fluffy tail when sitting, I took care to sit sideways during brief breaks. While physically demanding, seeing everyone's delighted expressions while snapping photos made every ounce of effort worthwhile.

These three days were remarkably fulfilling, bringing abundant encouragement and thoughtful feedback. Fellow Daoists, until our paths cross again.
