From getting my hands on this Awakening of the God-Chosen outfit to the final fitting, it actually took a long period of preparation. Today, I can finally release the teaser for this Chinese anime cosplay photoset.

In the close-up shot, you can see the detailed head accessories. This headband with starbursts and sharp horn-like shapes actually needs to be secured onto the wig. To prevent it from sliding off during shooting, I used quite a few bobby pins to reinforce it. The wig has a silver-white texture with a hint of light blue, and the bangs were trimmed to an appropriate length to match the character's temperament. For the makeup, to match the overall cool color scheme, I opted for a translucent base, primarily emphasizing the three-dimensional look of the eye makeup, blending it with fine shimmers and pale purple tones. This way, whether under normal indoor lighting or captured with a phone flash, the makeup stays clean and detailed. The halter strap design around the neck is actually a real test of ergonomics—it chokes a little bit—but to visually recreate the character's sharpness and elegance, this little bit of hardship is totally worth it.

Looking at the full-length mirror selfie, the irregular asymmetrical cut of the skirt hem is truly ingenious. The front features layered white fabric, while the sides are patched with deep blue and purple fabrics. Coupled with the purple bow at the waist and the golden diamond perimeter right in the center, the overall sense of layering is maximized. The detached sleeves on the arms have a slightly sheer, tulle-like texture, making them look very ethereal whether I raise my arms or let them drop naturally. I also have to mention that large sword prop next to me—it looks sharp and formidable, but it's actually quite heavy in hand. While posing in front of the mirror, I had to be extra careful to maintain my center of gravity, otherwise, it would easily lean to one side.

As a cosplayer, when releasing a photoset teaser, I usually like to share these most authentic behind-the-scenes and costume-test photos for casual cosplay. For one thing, it shows everyone the rawest worn state of the costume and wig, and for another, it serves as a personal record. The blue floor and beige curtain of the fitting room actually form a very pure, temporary backdrop, which instead highlights the character's own color palette. Many fine details on the costume, such as the zippers on the cuffs and the tiny star bead strings along the edges of the clothes, are even more eye-catching under a macro lens view.

Using these two simple casual snaps from the fitting room today, I'm giving a visual preview to friends who are following this Awakening of the God-Chosen look from the Throne of Seal anime. Next up is patiently waiting for the photographer's retouched final images. I hope to convey more of the character's charm to everyone.
