[Yin Ziping cosplay] NARAKA: BLADEPOINT Chenyu Outfit, Live Recording from the Carnival Venue

Yin Ziping's Chenyu skin really delivered stunning photos live at this Naraka: Bladepoint Carnival. I have always wanted to try this blue-toned look with an ethereal, fluttering feel. The blue tulle and white lace ruffled design, combined with the waist jade pendants and floral hair accessories, blend the agility of a martial arts heroine with a gentle, soft temperament. The closed folding fan in hand is also packed with detail; the texture on the fan ribs and the quality of the metal pendant are exquisitely crafted. Whether held against my chest as an embellishment or hanging down naturally during the shoot, it perfectly becomes the visual focal point, making my posture look much more natural.

Let's talk about the makeup and styling this time. The base makeup was specially made to be very form-fitting, emphasizing the skin's clarity and radiance. For the eyeshadow, earth tones were chosen to deepen the contours, with a touch of fine shimmer dotted in the center of the eyelids to enlarge the eyes without looking too heavy. The lip color chosen was an orange-toned red which, paired with my naturally fair complexion, gave a great healthy glow, making the facial makeup pop even more against the cool-toned blue attire. The hair was styled into an updo with slightly curled sideburns paired with a single-sided braid. The hair accessories also adopted a cool, elegant style from the same series as the outfit. This retained the characteristics of a traditional ancient hairstyle while appearing more casual and agile, perfectly blending into my casual cosplay routine. Under the overhead lights of the convention venue, it had a gentle and moist texture, perfectly fitting Yin Ziping's intelligent and nimble image in the game.

This event took place live at the Naraka: Bladepoint Carnival exhibition venue. Although the pavilion was very crowded, the stages and booth backdrops set up were highly photogenic. Especially the large installation in the back, featuring a sense of technology and pixel art, created a very interesting contrast with this Chinese-style Xianxia attire. As a veteran player, being able to personally experience the atmosphere of the game IP coming to life on-site and seeing so many fellow fans interacting was a truly wonderful feeling. I noticed that many passing players could recognize Yin Ziping's character traits at a single glance, and some fellow fans even came over to compliment today's makeup and costume. At that moment, I felt that all the preparation and styling were completely worth it.

Regarding the details of this costume, what satisfied me the most was actually the sense of layering at the cuffs and collar. The lightweight fabric, combined with pearl and sequin embellishments, offers a great flowing effect when walking, reflecting fine glimmers whenever light hits it. When shooting this set of photos, the photographer was incredibly patient in helping me adjust the lighting and angles, specially highlighting the costume's reflections and my facial contours. Since there was a heavy flow of people in the venue and the costume itself carried some weight, the entire shooting process took about an hour. Although wearing such clothes required me to maintain posture and expressions constantly, it was still an enjoyable process to present the best possible result.

Every time I do a cosplay project, it's not just about changing into clothes and putting on a wig, but a deep-level experience of the character and a way to get closer to their personality and temperament. The character depictions in NARAKA: BLADEPOINT have always been highly distinctive, and Yin Ziping's background setting and her own storyline are immensely charming. Being able to appear here today in the Chenyu outfit feels like a wonderful stroke of fate. This set of photos doesn't use heavy filters or excessive editing; I hope to restore the authentic texture seen by the naked eye as much as possible, preserving the costume's original weave and the live lighting feeling. It serves as a perfect record of my convention journey, strictly restoring the unique beauty of this look.
