[Ishtar Cosplay & Ereshkigal Cosplay] Fate/Grand Order Twin Goddesses in One Frame

From makeup testing to the studio shoot, the planning for this duo photoshoot actually brewed for a long time. Ishtar and Ereshkigal are goddesses in the setting who have distinct personalities yet are closely tied, so we intentionally made distinctions in poses and expressions. I was responsible for Ishtar at the high position; to recreate that condescending tsundere feel, I specifically chose a white pedestal as support, using the height difference to strengthen the aura. The headpiece was that radial gold halo; after putting it on, my overall visual center shifted upward, which paired with black hair and a main white skirt indeed carried a divine touch. The costume details were extensive—the collar had a custom hard metallic feel, and the red and blue gem-adorned ring on the chest was the visual focus of the entire upper body. The white fabric of the skirt used a material with excellent drape, and the slit design completely exposed the single dark blue stocking. While shooting, I deliberately propped up my leg, using perspective to elongate lines while displaying a pose that was both elegant and slightly willful, fitting for a goddess.

My partner sat below as Ereshkigal, whose blonde twin tails paired with wine-red bows and a small black crown formed a sharp color contrast with me. Her black off-the-shoulder outfit plus a red-lined cape with gold trim inclined overall toward a dark aesthetic without losing splendour. Positioning one high and one low, one in white and one in black, one in gold and one in red, combined with our respective gold accessories as a shared visual tether, yielded a remarkably clean and pure result against the solid white background. For styling with extravagant decorations, a simpler background highlights the characters themselves even more. During this shoot, we repeatedly adjusted hand movements and eye directions—I looked directly at the camera, while she tilted her head slightly, creating a subtle interactive feel.

Putting on this costume was actually very time-consuming; securing just the halo crown and gold armlets took nearly half an hour. Furthermore, because we had to maintain sitting and reclining poses, muscles stayed tense for extended periods. Luckily, the photographer was fast at capturing snapshots, pressing the shutter during our most natural moments. Before the shoot, I also specifically studied the personality traits of these twin goddesses in the game, so during posing, I wasn't merely mimicking the original art, but attempting to inject personal understanding of the characters—like a touch of playfulness amidst haughtiness, or softness hidden within coolness. Being able to successfully complete this joint shoot truly owes thanks to my partner's cooperation; we refined our action transitions several times, and I'm quite satisfied with the final presentation. The costume texture was layered nicely under studio lights, especially the reflections off gold trimmings and gemstones, which looked as lustrous in person as in the final photos. Besides joint shots, we actually shot many individual close-ups, but this duo's composition and emotional resonance were the most spot-on, so I'm sharing the day's achievements first to let everyone feel the atmosphere of goddesses descending.
