This was an outdoor shoot in Nanjing; the female client was very pretty, and her boyfriend was equally handsome. Even though he was just accompanying her, everyone had great chemistry, making for a joyous atmosphere. After the shoot during selection and editing, her boyfriend proactively asked about progress and sent a 52 RMB red envelope as a tip. This slightly romantic implication sent my heart fluttering, though I maintained professional photographer composure on the surface. Later, he invited me out three times; I declined the first two before finally accepting the third, agreeing to meet at the cafe where we previously shot.

Upon meeting, the cafe was quiet with soothing music putting me at ease. As I got lost in various thoughts, he pulled out a bouquet of flowers like a magic trick and handed them over. My heart sank, and just as I was about to say, \"This isn't appropriate between us,\" he looked at me with utmost sincerity and asked, \"Teacher, do you still have photography slots open for the October convention?\" I froze instantly, then couldn't help bursting out laughing. Turns out all the flirting and racing heartbeats were just a setup to ask about my CP30 schedule! Thankfully, as a professional photographer facing sudden twists, I immediately adjusted my state and began analyzing convention schedules and shooting plans with him.

Now to share photography insights for this set. Whether it's the vintage dress style surrounded by white flower bushes in image one or the atmospheric duo interaction in image two, both heavily test a photographer's lighting setup skills. The shadowy, dreamlike jellyfish texture in image three required precise rim light control and capturing reflections on translucent materials. Image four utilized bright natural window light to capture a fresh look as subjects gazed upward, conveying vitality and gentle warmth.

Image five, serving as the cover shot, gave me immense satisfaction. The black-white-red contrast proved eye-catching, creating striking visual contrast between fair skin and black attire paired with black tights. I caught side-rim lighting at this angle to enhance silhouette dimensionality without losing shadow details, while leg line extensions made the composition feel expansive. Image six's red silhouette lighting offered a dark, theatrical expression tailored to deep personality traits.

I primarily take shoots in Nanjing and Shanghai, holding extensive experience with convention photos and photosets for events like CP30. Before every shoot, I communicate costume fabrics, wig styling, and desired photo aesthetics thoroughly with clients to ensure smooth creative execution. This little episode reminded me that the convention photography scene is truly packed with hidden talent, and client expectations for photo quality grow increasingly professional.

After that cafe misunderstanding, I gained a loyal returning client. What brings me the most joy as a photographer is meeting diverse people and recording their beauty from different angles. Amid bustling conventions, capturing cosplayers' finest states through my lens brings immense fulfillment. Whether magnificent, dark, or fresh styles, I remain eager to try them all, exploring ways to tell stories through light and shadow.
