[Yixuan cosplay] Zenless Zone Zero at Night, Throw All Hollow Troubles into the Wind - Image 1

I snapped a few casual photos on the street in the evening. Just as the Mitsukoshi sign in the background lit up, the city sky happened to turn from blue-gray to deep purple. This outfit for Yixuan actually has quite a lot of details; the folds of the white inner shirt need to be smoothed out naturally, and the epaulets and metal buttons on the golden coat must be positioned precisely, otherwise it would look bloated. Especially the pair of red frog buttons across the chest, and the white round buttons on the black straps—every small accessory needs to strictly match the character design. The length and curvature of the wig's bangs were also adjusted several times because if the shooting angle shifted even slightly, the black hair accessory on the forehead would easily get crooked.
For this shoot, I tried a style closer to daily natural lighting, avoiding overly intense fill lights and relying mostly on the street environment light to outline my silhouette. The makeup for the golden eyes used a warm orange-brown base with slightly elongated outer corners, making the gaze focus better in the night view. It was quite windy during the shoot, and my hair kept blowing onto my face, but it actually gave off a casual, relaxed vibe. Whether it's daytime missions or the daily life of a Proxy, once night falls, it's time to unwind those tight nerves. When it comes to recreating Yixuan, what I care about most is that cool yet slightly gentle demeanor; the movements don't need to be exaggerated—just slightly tilting my head to look at the camera is enough. This set of photos didn't undergo any complex post-processing color grading, preserving the original tones of the night, which I feel conveys that quiet atmosphere of being alone late at night much better. I hope everyone can feel another side of this character beyond the game setting through this Zenless Zone Zero cosplay. Cosplay sharing isn't just about striking poses, it's about letting the character's emotions flow under a specific environment.
