Taking on ChinaJoy and Bilibili World back-to-back was definitely quite a physical challenge. A great deal of thought went into preparing this Nicole Demara cosplay look. The wig featured long pink curls with gradient shading; to better capture the character's unruly flair, the twin pigtails on both sides were deliberately styled with extra volume. The black forehead ornament and choker were custom accessories secured with heavy-duty double-sided tape and bobby pins to ensure they wouldn't fall off in the bustling halls. For the costume, I chose a black-and-white cropped halter top paired with a structured black Techwear leather jacket. To accentuate the character's traits, the waist straps and metal-studded belt were adjusted for a long time to achieve a defined waistline without constricting breathing.

The leather shorts and Black stockings on the lower half were a major visual focus. The edges of the leather shorts feature white plush trimming, echoing the top. At the convention, this outfit actually trapped a lot of heat—alternating between the hall's air conditioning and waves of crowd heat meant breaking into a sweat every few steps. But having chosen to portray this character, giving it my all was a must. That black briefcase prop was essential; though it only held touch-up makeup and my phone, the hard-shell case itself had substantial weight. Holding it with one hand while posing and projecting a swaggering attitude was certainly a mini test of arm strength.

I encountered many enthusiastic photographers at the convention, scouting various angles around the CJ and BW booths. The cyberpunk neon backdrop matched this outfit wonderfully, especially using side purple and blue lights to create sharp rim lighting. To showcase leg lines and the texture of Black stockings, I tried many leg-lifting and crossed-leg standing poses. While shooting in Black stockings produces great results, wearing them all day alongside thick-soled black lace-up boots took a toll on my feet and knees by the afternoon. However, seeing the shots captured on camera screens completely melted that exhaustion away.

When portraying this character, I focused heavily on the tension in my gaze and body language. I dialed back my usual soft look to showcase a confident, shrewd, and slightly dangerous boss-like posture. Whether throwing up a peace sign with one hand or lifting the briefcase, every action was kept crisp and clean. Anime life is always filled with these hectic yet fulfilling moments. Navigating between halls and discussing framing and lighting with different photographers is a continuous learning and growing experience in itself. I look forward to bringing an even better state to the next convention to present an even more flawless side of the character in future Convention photos.
