[Ichinose Asuna cosplay] Blue Archive maid outfit convention photos

The convention photos shot this time feature the maid version of Ichinose Asuna. The overall styling is dominated by a black-and-white color scheme, accented with light blue bows and straps on the chest and waist. To fit the character's design, I prepared a long golden straight wig, paired with blue contact lenses, and added a touch of red blending at the outer corners of the eyes. The headwear is a cat-ear headband with white ruffles, and this combination was extremely eye-catching at the convention site.
The short-sleeved top of the upper body adopts a puff-sleeve design, and the waist is cropped to expose the midriff, which can well showcase body lines. The lower body is a black pleated skirt with blue lines, layered with a white half-apron on the outside. The legs wear black lace-trimmed over-the-knee stockings. During the shoot, the venue's overhead lighting was very complex, so we found an area with a darker background and used artificial light sources for front fill light, which made the clothing details and character texture more prominent.
The photography adopted a low-angle upward-looking perspective. This angle has relatively high requirements for composition, requiring me to keep my body straight while adjusting hand gestures. I lifted the skirt hem with one hand and gently touched the area next to the bow on my neck with the other, which can make the body language richer. In terms of expression, I tried to maintain a slightly playful smile, looking straight into the lens, which, combined with the cat-ear headband, reinforced the overall thematic style.
The foot traffic at the convention site was very heavy, and moving around the venue wearing this outfit required extra care. The fabric of the pleated skirt and apron tended to wrinkle after walking for a long time, so I needed to tidy up the skirt hem frequently. The wig also needed to be combed from time to time to maintain a smooth drape. Although this costume looked a bit heavy, under the air-conditioned environment of the indoor hall, the shooting process went quite smoothly.
To achieve a better visual effect, we adjusted the camera positions several times on-site. Although upward angles can lengthen proportions, they also easily distort the face, so the photographer and I communicated for a long time to find the appropriate distance and focal length. The design highlight of this maid outfit lies in the echoing of colors; the blue and white details keep the overall styling from looking monotonous. The post-processing space for convention photos is also very large; although the venue's lighting was complex, by suppressing highlights and brightening shadows in post-processing, the original texture of the clothing could be restored.
Regarding this shoot, the main intention was to present a relaxed and playful state of the character in maid attire. From costume preparation to on-site shooting, the entire process was advanced according to the original setup. I also met many fellow fans who love this work at the venue, and everyone exchanged shooting experiences. The completion degree of the entire convention photo session met my expectations, and a lot of thought went into the restoration of details and the creation of the overall atmosphere. For this convention photo session, I did a lot of preparation work in makeup, styling, and action design. The pattern of this costume has great body inclusivity, and after tightening the belt, the waistline is very obvious. The absolute territory between the black over-the-knee stockings and the skirt hem is also a visual focus of this styling. The final output effect basically restored my vision for this outfit, and the use of light and angles was just right. The environment inside the convention hall was relatively noisy and the lighting was also cluttered, so finding suitable angles and light sources during shooting was very important. I confirmed the required image effects with the photographer in advance and tried to relax when posing to display the most natural state.
