[Aria cosplay] Zenless Zone Zero: Sweet Critical Strike of the Pink Star

A ton of effort went into crafting this Aria outfit. White serves as the primary base, punctuated by high-contrast pops of vibrant hot pink and cyan blue for an intense visual impact. The wig features a saturated pink base accented with mint green streaks, flanked by small black bows on both sides of the head; the cyan halo and star hair ornaments at the back required careful prep and styling beforehand. For makeup, light blue-violet contact lenses were chosen to match the character, with defined eye contours and a sheer, radiant base to look luminous on camera.

The top is quite intricate in structure, featuring a black front zipper, orange accent lacing, and white puff sleeves lined with black stripes across the shoulders and arms. On the wrists, I wore pink-and-white color-blocked gloves and cuffs adorned with cyan bows. The bottom half is a layered, fluffy white puff mini-skirt with cyan, blue, and white striped patterns bordering the hem. A colossal cyan star prop is mounted along the side of the skirt, featuring a large central eyeball and a tiny painted mouth underneath—one of the standout visual hallmarks of this entire look. On my legs, I wore pink striped calf socks (Stockings) trimmed with white lace ruffles and petite cyan bows, stepping into chunky white platform heeled boots topped with large bows that tied the whole aesthetic together.

In my hand, I held a silver multi-pointed star magic wand. While posing, I had to pay close attention to wrist angles so the star atop the wand aligned with my line of sight, keeping my gaze locked with the lens. To showcase the flow and bounce of the puffy skirt, we captured many dynamic jumping and leg-raising action shots. Because the soles of the platform boots were so thick, performing high kicks required tightening my core to preserve balance, ensuring each frame looked light and airy rather than clumsy. As my hair fluttered with every leap, brandishing the star wand brought the entire magical mood alive.

This look is packed with dense design elements: from stars and eyeballs to pink-and-blue stripes, every single accent accentuates the character's playful, adorable charm. Straightening out the skirt folds and smoothing the texture of the leg Stockings between takes required meticulous care to keep every frame flawless. The color grading emphasized a candy-coated aesthetic, where high-key studio lighting made the white fabrics and pink-cyan palette glow brilliantly, delivering a vibrant, dreamlike anime feel. Seeing the finished edits made all the tedious preparation and physical exertion completely worthwhile.
