[Ryuge Kisaki cosplay] Summer youth in Blue Archive, celebrating a birthday at the playground

Seeing Sensei say they're celebrating my birthday today, it's hard to imagine everyone bustling around under the blazing sun on the day of the shoot. So, I'm sharing this daily-life Anime cosplay set shot in outdoor playground facilities. During early makeup and hair planning, I confirmed eye makeup details with the makeup artist several times, because Ryuge Kisaki gives off a cool yet gentle vibe. To restore that subtle temperament, I chose a deep navy wig with grey undertones. The signature twin buns on top were tied round and full; since the long twintails were quite heavy, padding was added at the back of the head to maintain a natural drape. Today's outfit closely mirrors her daily activity design in the game: a crisp white shirt, a tightly knotted blue tie, and a dark navy pleated skirt with subtle folds. The skirt length is just right, paired with pure white calf-length socks and black leather shoes—I feel the accuracy is quite good, giving off a refreshing School JK feel overall.

To match this youthful and vibrant atmosphere, we picked the children's play area in a park for Outdoor photography. The climbing rope net and blue-painted walkway formed a great cool-toned background, highlighted by several orange climbing handholds that enriched the color depth. The first and third photos use rope net holding compositions, capturing a natural sense of motion. In the second full-body shot, I turned slightly sideways, resting my hand against a post, where the skirt drape and white socks stood out brightly; paired with blurred background trees and passersby, it created a daily vibe full of life. I really like the fourth top-down angle, sitting on the blue ground holding my hair ends, surrounded by orange climbing holds, blending into the playground facilities seamlessly with a lazy afternoon leisure vibe.

The lighting on the day of the shoot was fantastic. Sunlight at 2 or 3 p.m., filtered through tree shade, fell very softly on my face. Photographer Bingbing Hongcha excels at capturing Japanese translucent feel—whether body curves from a low angle or eye contact during a look-back, every shutter timing was hit precisely without needing us to force awkward poses. Performing cosplay photography in front of so many watching children and parents was quite a test of mindset. From initially being stiff to becoming fully immersed in character—viewing the lens through her slightly aloof yet approachable personality—the entire process was a special experience.

This wasn't just a photoshoot, but a fun offline experience, celebrating a symbolic "birthday" with the character through cosplay, bringing in-game bonds into reality. We didn't heavily retouch skin texture, preserving real colors and lighting instead, which fits the relaxed feel of an outdoor photo session.
