Before putting on this pink-toned outfit, I was actually a bit worried that it might look too fluorescent under studio lighting, but the actual shooting results proved that this low-saturation pink and yellow combination is exceptionally flattering to skin tone. The wig is a trimmed blunt-bangs pink short wig with naturally flipped-out tips. To make the hair strands look shinier, I used a small amount of hair care oil during styling. Once the studio's rim lighting hit, that edge-glowing feel instantly popped out. The light-colored beret on the head acts as an accent for the entire styling, and the hand-added small yellow bows and floral accessories on the hat broke the monotony of the original solid color.
The top is a white short-sleeved shirt with a teardrop-shaped cutout design at the neckline, secured in the middle with a flower-shaped brooch. The chest and cuffs are adorned with matching-toned bows. The most eye-catching part is definitely the giant pink bow at the front of the waist; such exaggerated proportions are very common in Junior idol style clothing, using visual disparity to pull the waistline in tightly. The lower skirt is a yellow-and-white plaid puffy skirt, trimmed with a ring of pink lace ruffles along the hem, with several yellow bows hanging underneath. The long pink trailing ribbons in the back add layering to the entire outfit. On my legs, I wore pure White stockings, paired with off-white chunky-heeled Mary Jane shoes featuring bows on the toes, and wore laced gloves on my hands. The overall color scheme is basically controlled within three colors: white, pink, and yellow.
During the shoot, for Photo 1, I stood sideways with one hand gently touching my chin and the other hanging naturally at my side; this pose mainly showcased the side tailoring of the dress and the drape of the ribbons. For Photo 2, I clenched my fists and raised my arms, keeping shoulders relaxed and wrists engaged to look lively rather than stiff. For Photo 3, I stood on a gray cylindrical platform with hands on hips, placing my weight on one leg while slightly bending the other, utilizing the platform's height to elongate leg lines. For Photo 4, I held a super-sized pink strawberry plush toy, gently tapping the strawberry with my fingers and tilting my head slightly to one side, creating an interactive visual center between the subject and the prop.
The studio background used a medium-gray seamless paper; this color doesn't steal the clothes' color while nicely setting off the brightness of the pink hair. The lighting setup adopted a relatively classic approach: a large softbox as the main light from the front to ensure smooth facial shadow transitions, while a grid-equipped light was placed at the back-side of the subject to outline the edge contours of the hair and body, separating the person from the background with a glowing halo effect. In post-processing, I only did some basic skin smoothing and liquefying, preserving the original fabric texture without over-retouching, presenting an overall clean and translucent texture.
