This shoot is all about contrast. For the first half, I sat upright in the study, holding heavy bamboo scrolls, and striking a strategist's calm and composed pose for the camera. The prop team did an excellent job with the details; the handwriting and wood grain on the bamboo slips had a wonderful texture. Coupled with the thread-bound books on the shelves in the background and the black-and-gold hair crown, the scholarly atmosphere of the entire study was completely elevated. For the second half, however, we changed our approach and shot several sets of high-angle photos lying flat on the tatami. The light purple-gray wig spread out, and paired with the cyan wide-sleeved outer coat and the bright orange inner layer, the color contrast felt very comfortable. Lying there holding a calligraphy brush or raising a hand to interact was actually harder to manage than sitting. I had to control my expression so it didn't look too stiff, while ensuring the folds of the clothing flowed beautifully. The photographer was very particular about the composition, avoiding overly complex post-processing and relying more on the on-site light casting and floor textures to add depth. The entire shoot took about three hours. The most exhausting part wasn't the posing, but keeping the hair crown from falling off, along with the wig itself requiring repeated grooming. Wearing this Hanfu styling actually gave me a deeper sense of immersion that ancient-style characters bring. Every time I looked down at the bamboo slips or up into the lens, it felt like conversing with a specific point in time. I really like the texture and color palette of the costume and props themselves, especially the red string tie at the neckline and the metal buckle at the waist; these small details made the overall look much more vivid. The color grading of the photos also leans warm and natural, without excessive skin smoothing, preserving the skin's true texture. Through this Anime cosplay, I tried two completely different states—focused concentration and relaxed laziness—and I hope you can see the atmospheric expression of different facets.
