The core concept of this photoshoot was to create a delightful crossover clash between the Tsaritsa's icy majesty and the playful, everyday vibe of Mixue's Snow King cosplay. To fit this theme, rather than choosing a traditionally heavy gown, I opted for a custom white onesie pajama set adorned with oversized black buttons down the front and black patchwork on the elbows. It was paired with a flowing, bright red cape at the back and a red bow tied at the collar, preserving the character's iconic color elements.

For the wig, I selected a long, wavy, grey-tinted light purple wig, braiding the sides to add intricate detail. The headpiece was the centerpiece of the entire look: a diamond-encrusted silver crown carrying natural icy reflections, complemented by blue-and-white crystal pendants at the forehead and temples. In particular, the elf ear props required careful blending to conceal their seams, ensuring they remained seamless throughout any motion. The makeup featured a wide expanse of clear, translucent base makeup, paired with lake-blue contact lenses and shimmering glitter eyeshadow to accentuate the eye contours, finished with a jelly lip glaze to strike a balance between mythical charm and cute everyday appeal.

The most dramatic prop was undoubtedly the ice cream wand in hand. The shaft was textured with a faux wood-grain finish, while the ice cream scoop atop was sculpted using lightweight clay and foam materials, coated in creamy white paint with spiral textures crafted to look authentic. Under the brilliant outdoor sunlight, this prop naturally became the visual focal point of the shot.

The lighting on the day of the shoot was exceptionally bright, demanding precise exposure control for the white costume. On the wide concrete ground, several tense, dynamic shots were captured right as the cape billowed in the wind. In the first shot, I pointed the wand straight toward the camera as the cape flared out, aiming to convey a striking contrast—both the unyielding, untouchable pride of an Ice Queen and a touch of playful defiance. Subsequent shots with hands on hips or at ease were much more relaxed; holding the wand casually by my side felt just like strolling leisurely through the convention streets.

The outdoor temperature at the World Line Anime Convention that day was actually quite high. While the onesie pajamas looked adorable, they were stiflingly hot inside, leaving beads of sweat on my forehead after just a few action sets. At the convention, many fans came over to take photos, thoroughly intrigued by this Mixue crossover joke, with some even humming the catchy theme song. Between adjusting my cape and coordinating the next framing with the photographer, I did my best to maintain peak expression and posing before every shutter click.

The entire shoot was an absolute delight; from makeup and styling to prop coordination, it was a bold experiment. Blending an unassailable, divine concept with deeply relatable, grounded everyday elements requires delicate balance in body language—avoiding being overly rigid and injecting lively gazes alongside relaxed postures so the audience can truly feel the joy bridging these worlds.
