[Lisa Cosplay] One-Day Trip at Genshin Impact Fes

Day 1 of Genshin Impact Fes! Spent the whole day hanging out in the hall with close friends, and finally have time to sit down and organize today's photos. I cosplayed Lisa this time—prepared the costume and wig way in advance, but was still inevitably in a hurry on-site.

Regarding the pose in this picture, I actually wanted to replicate a classic gesture from the Dance of Sabzeruz, but my mind went completely blank on the spot and I totally forgot how to pose, so I just did a natural stretching movement in my most comfortable state. My friend laughed non-stop next to me, saying mine was the "fabricated version" of the Dance of Sabzeruz, focusing on spontaneity. But this impromptu feeling on-site felt pretty good too; at least there was no anxiety about inaccurate replication, and the final shot turned out quite relaxed and natural.

The venue decoration this time was really thoughtful. The large wooden carriage behind me, surrounded by decorative floral vines, paired with the stylized background boards beside the standees, restored the game's natural yet slightly fantasy-esque style. Photographing in this environment with convention photography doesn't require too much complex posing; just standing there brings out the narrative feel of the frame.

Let's talk about makeup and styling details. Lisa's wig is light gold with elegant curls. A lot of effort was spent adjusting hair direction during styling to ensure hair strands seamlessly blended with the hat and headpiece, presenting a fluffy and dimensional look overall. The outfit features a stitched design mainly in dark teal and white with large areas of gold trim. This courtly academic style of attire places high demands on fabric drape, or else it easily looks bulky. The metal chains and chest emblem I wore also adhered as closely as possible to official lore setting to ensure detailed accuracy. Wearing it all day, although the outfit had weight, walking around the hall actually felt quite ceremonial.

For makeup, I specifically chose soft, vintage tones combined with delicate base makeup and light-colored contact lenses to match the character's mature and intellectual traits. Although in some unexpected situations (like forgetting poses), my facial expression management occasionally faltered, luckily the photographer was super professional and captured very natural expressions.

Speaking of the photographer, special thanks to my friend along for the ride, @璟! He carried equipment following me almost from start to finish, finding well-lit camera angles while guiding my composition. He was also incredibly thoughtful, carrying small props and fill lights—a truly ideal partner, handsome, considerate, and dependable. With him assisting on site, I could relax faster in front of the camera without worrying about too many ruined shots.

Today was also a day of hanging out with close friends! Several of us cosplaying different characters traversed between booths, visited each other's photo spots, and wandered around check-in points. The joy of gathering offline like this cannot be experienced online in multiplayer mode. Everyone around was an ACG enthusiast, creating an ultra-enthusiastic atmosphere where people could easily start chatting about any topic while waiting in line—this level of immersion is truly amazing.

Having enjoyed Casual cosplay for so long, every convention trip becomes a special memory. Though preparation is often tiring—rushing costume work, practicing expressions, and even facing unexpected on-site situations—when you truly step into a favorite character's shoes, walk into matching scenes, and interact with photographers and fellow cosplayers, all previous hardships transform into accomplishment. Although the pose in this photo was improvised on the spot, it records our most genuine experience at Genshin Impact Fes—not a forced perfect moment, but the happiest time right now.
