[Sandrone Cosplay] Genshin Impact Headcanon / Original Setting: Mint-Colored Weekend Casual Snapshots

Decided to take a casual snapshot before heading out today in this mint green and brown headcanon / original setting Lolita outfit. Although it's a fan creation based on the character Sandrone from Genshin Impact, I've always felt that this kind of original design allows me to experience her character traits more comfortably in daily scenarios. I chose a light blonde wig with flaxen undertones, paying close attention to fluffiness during styling to prevent it from looking messy. Combined with the dark brown bow and ribbons on my head, it creates a wonderful visual balance.

Regarding the costume's structure, the cross-knot bow at the neckline serves as the visual focus, complemented by the ruffled cap sleeves to give the upper body a refined yet lightweight contour. The lower skirt utilizes a three-tier paneled design, where white lace trim and chocolate-brown satin ribbons alternate, showcasing distinct layering and dynamic grace when walking. The color pairing of mint green and chocolate offers both a striking freshness and a soft, everyday wear foundation.

Speaking of the headcanon / original setting concept, this actually stems from my imagination of her lifestyle outside official lore. In Genshin Impact, Sandrone possesses a calm and wise disposition; translating her into a casual daily context through sweet Lolita cuts creates a lovely narrative feel. I intentionally retained the core colors of the official design while increasing the visual prominence of the cap sleeves and layered skirt, giving the overall look a harmonious and unified quality.

For the makeup, I used a matte foundation to maintain a clean, non-reflective texture under soft indoor lighting, making the skin appear naturally clear in photos. Earth tones were used for the eye makeup to deepen eye contours, perfectly echoing the hair color and main costume tones. The plush toy held in my arms isn't just a prop to fill empty space; it also serves to soften the original sharpness of the look, adding warmth and playful charm.

During the shoot, taking a daily mirror selfie in this posture required repeatedly adjusting my center of gravity to catch the best angle. I'm not used to rigidly posed shots, as overly tight compositions tend to drain the relaxed vibe. Therefore, I prefer relying on present intuition to capture moments in this casual snapshot style.

The formation of indoor bokeh lights depends on the contrast of light and dark in the background as well as the lens aperture setting. This effect renders the image softer and warmer, fitting a fresh mint-green outfit exceptionally well. Compared to controlled lighting in a studio, natural light in real-life settings conveys the true colors and textures of the clothing much more easily.

Looking closely at the skirt's paneling details, the white lace and ruffled edges feature double-stitched hems, and the proportions of the various ribbon bows were adjusted to avoid looking overly cluttered from too many large bows. Showing these subtle micro-details in photos actually places high demands on lighting and focal length, but this casual snapshot managed to capture a really great state.

Overall, I'm quite satisfied with the level of completion and atmosphere of this headcanon / original setting cosplay. Going out casually, taking quick snapshots, and crafting this outfit together with a beloved studio made the entire process full of exploratory joy. Presenting a character through an original setting is inherently fascinating.
