Let's dive straight into the theme of this shoot. When interpreting this Abyss Lumine look, we tried to use visual language to balance the elegance and pathos inherent to the character. For the wig, we chose a highly layered blonde look, paired with dark-toned eye makeup to deepen the sharpness of the gaze. In terms of clothing, we specially selected a material with a black base and gold patterns, combined with semi-transparent black tulle cuffs and that iconic black feather flower headpiece, spreading the overall sense of layering from head to toe.
When shooting the first scene in the vintage study room, I chose to sit by a leather sofa and a plaid tablecloth; this rich slice-of-life atmosphere ironically brought out the character's cold detachment from the mundane world. The key lay in the relaxation of the eyes and the subtle movements of the fingertips—such as placing a finger against my lips to create a wordless serenity. Moving on to the second scene with the red curtain stage, the atmosphere shifted completely. We wanted to express the tension of the last scion during a dramatic moment; with the violin acting as the core prop, its wooden reflection under the top light delivered an incredible texture. Holding the violin neck and bow with gloved hands, I needed to deliberately adjust the angle of my elbows to ensure the lines appeared sharp and crisp in front of the lens. As for the climax scene showered with golden confetti, it truly tested our coordination. To ensure that the reflection angle of every single golden piece looked perfect, we repeatedly adjusted our positioning near the lift platform until the light spots and the falling flakes seamlessly merged together.
Striking poses on the wooden floor while wearing these tall boots with high heels was actually a bit slippery, so every single freeze-frame point had to be exceptionally stable. This immersive creation deepened my understanding of the character by a layer, and the photographer's professional control also greatly elevated the texture of the final photos. The compositional tension of the entire set is just right. The final layout design preserves a rich sense of light and shadow, beautifully presenting the character's restrained yet powerful side to the lens. I'm thrilled to present this Client Photo Showcase to everyone.
